I appreciated monitoring my vegetable garden watering when I was away for week.It has a lot of flexibility to set up and change the watering throughout the season. And it can be done away from the house. Because it has so many settings it’s a good idea to read the manual.The TapLinker is about 20’ from the Gateway inside the back of the house. I raised the TapLinker 3 ft and moved it to got a strong signal.My TapLinker worked great the first year. After one month this summer it died. I sent in email to customer service on a Sunday and got a response in a few hours. With no hassle I got a new timer in two days. Amazing service.

Non é certamente economico, ma risolve qualsiasi esigenza di irrigazione domestica (anche complessa). Copertura wireless eccellente (non semplice wifi, ma codifica zigbee, molto più estesa). Programmazione molto flessibile, da app e web, ma anche semplice da effettuare, avvio manuale sempre possibile e protetta. Notifiche per qualsiasi evento, insomma il massimo. Acquistato anche un altro G2S singolo.

Ich besitze ein Haus mit einer kleinen Rasenfläche in Serbien. Von jemandem zu erwarten im Sommer den Rasen jeden Tag zu bewässern ist zuviel verlangt. Also suchte ich nach einem Bewässerungscomputer, den man auch aus der Ferne steuern kann. Ich fuhr in den Urlaub mit dem Teil. Ausgepackt, also kein 100 Gramm Gerät sondern schön robust und gutem Gewicht. Macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck.Inbetriebnahme: Man muss sich schon bisschen mit der Technik auskennen (bezogen auf die App). Es ist aber auch kein Hexenwerk. Es gibt eine dürftige aber schon wegweisende Anleitung. Notfalls auch im Internet auf TapLink Seite. Da ich das Gerät leicht angepasst habe auf meine Bedürfnisse (die Anschlüsse, Schläuche), nach knapp 30 Minuten dann der erste Test.Funktion: was soll ich sagen, manuell ausgelöst, es kam das Wasser aus den Bewässerungsdüsen.Absolute Empfehlung ist die App. Damit lässt sich das Gerät schön steuern. Ich habe das Gerät mit zwei Ausgängen gekauft. Mein Wasserdruck erlaubte mir es nicht, das Gerät mit einem Ausgang zu kaufen. Bei 3/4'' hätte ich das Problem nicht, da ich aber nur 1/2'' Rohre verbauen liess, muss ich erstmal erste drei Düsen laufen lassen, dann die anderen drei. Eingestellt habe ich die App, dass nach 10 Minuten das Gerät von selbst schliesst. Mann kann es aber auch programmieren. Das habe ich nicht gemacht, da ich mit der Wetterdaten nichts anfangen kann. Zwar erkennt die App die Stadt, aber die Wetterdaten sind nicht immer exakt. Also löse ich es 2x manuell aus. Funktionierte ganze Saison zuverlässig.Fazit: Das Gerät wird zu 100% empfohlen. Es kostet ein bisschen viel, ja. Aber man bekommt einen Bewässerungscomputer, mit denen anderen namhafte Marken nicht mithalten können (hatte ich mit einer bekannter Marke die Ehre). Ich erwarte mehrere Jahren die Funktionalität. Wenn nicht, schreibe ich es in der Rezension rein. Im Moment, von mir die komplette 5*

I purchased 2 LinkTap devices. I love them both. The feature I like most is their water seals. The attach to an exterior tap via a 4 position manifold and there are no leaks. A huge improvement over my previous timer which leaked water constantly. The second feature I love and have used frequently is the little blue manual button on each unit. I can easily turn the water on and off manually. These switches also are precise in that they work perfectly. There are no water leaks. The user interface of the app is simple and flexible. I was able to program the units easily the first time with no frustration. Also the app has only the features I want and nothing extra. I believe this will make them reliable without failures from unnecessary features. Finally, I like how the Link Tsp devices are flat allowing for minimal protrusion into the narrow space between houses where my water tap is located. All in all I give these products 5 stars. They are exactly what I wanted for my lawn watering needs and they have thus far delivered 100%.In terms of additional features, please add a module with 3 outlets. That would make them even more useful. I already have the D1 with 2 hose attachments but has to by an additional unit to get the additional attachment I needed.

You know that expression, you didn't realize how badly you needed something till you have it? Well, that is definitely true with my D1. I have bonsai trees and was going to be away for a couple of weeks. No knowledgeable water help was available and I was quite concerned about how my trees were going to survive.LinkTap D1 to the rescue. I was searching for a water timer but everything I found was either way to simple or didn't have the options I was looking for. Stumbled across the D1 and after reading about the almost endless options and high praise reviews, I bit the bullet and bought one.Pricey? Yes, but more than worth the money. If you have horticulture investments be it flowers, shrubs, a garden or in my case bonsai trees, this device pays for itself in the first couple of weeks or less.There are so many programing options that it just blows your mind. Not only programing options but information about how much water you used, the cost of what you have water (have to get what your local water department charges for your water rate and program that in). It will tell you if there is a problem and what the problem is, you can program one event a day for each outlet or multiple events per day for each outlet, independent of each other. Shoot, it even tells you what the weather is and if it has rained it will let you know that as well and adjust watering accordingly. You can even start or shut down watering without affecting a program. The app is amazing.Just not enough good things to say about this device. Well done, guys!!!

I bought this to replace a different hose timer that I had to return because the gateway would not connect to my wifi. This TapLink D1 two zone timer connected to the cloud within about 10 seconds, just as the instructions said it would. Everything about this timer is positive. The instructions were clear and in perfect English. As suggested, I downloaded and read over the manual for the app. It was clear, detailed and well written. I had read some reviews that were critical of the UI. Some reviewers said they couldn't do a manual watering from the UI without trashing the watering program settings, but I was able to do that easily with the Instant Watering button on the UI and there is a drop down with several different choices for duration. You can also just use the buttons on the timer. This has many features that are very useful. There are bar charts that show water usage in gallons each time the zone is turned on, with cost (provided you enter the cost/1000 gallons in the settings.) There is even a real time usage display, with a countdown timer when you use Instant Watering. Buttons on the UI for weather forecast, zone in use, Pause the zone and Restart the zone. Also buttons for watering history, Watering plan and Batch Watering. The Watering plan is easy to set up. There are multiple alerts, such as for low flow, excessive flow, etc. You can skip the watering plan due to rain and the app will also do ir automatically if you input rainfall amounts to trigger the rain delay. You are also alerted if the timer should fall of the hose spigot (it contains an inclineometer). From initial setup to setting watering plans and everything in between, I could not find anything negative about this product. It's more expensive than most but worth the cost.

Esperaba comprarlo mas adelante debido a las buenas referencias que lo avalan pero me surgió una gran oportunidad debido a una oferta de Amazon y me lance a su compra. Hasta la primavera no espero probarlo pero creo que merece la espera el riesgo. Desde luego se ve mas robusto que otro que llegue a comprar de otro fabricante y tuve que devolver nada mas probarlo por defectuoso.
