I’ve used other remote tap tech in the past & nothing is as good as this. Signal has not dropped once - other brands are way less stable- this runs our watering programme every day & has not failed a single time over the many months it’s been in use. Highly recommended.

This was very easy to set up and the app easy to configure schedule. The rain delay works as described too.

Replacement for earlier model. Easy setup (used existing Gateway- remember to use 2.4GHz). New on-off button control on unit nice addition. Great unit for remote watering- highly recommended.

I used to travel for work, and liked being able to water the lawn when away from home. Now that I work from home, it is still great to be able to turn watering on/off from inside. I also just use it when I am in the yard. Nice to be able to move a sprinkler and then turn it on without having to walk back to the spigot.I have used 3 of them for 2 - 3 seasons with no problems. I just got my 4th because I was having to move sprinklers between different places and decided to give them each their own controller/hose/sprinkler. In the fall I take the old batteries out and feed it new batteries in the spring.

I have a bunch of these and will probably buy more. Solid, reliable, and backed by great customer support. LinkTap products have solved for the watering challenges I have living in South Florida. Highly recommended.

This is my 3rd unit. I think they are great. They allow timing schedules of all sorts. I love that they receive weather info and are able to be set automatically to change irrigation amounts according to temperature changes and even skip it if so set. I have 2 or 3 other types that can only be manually set once for 72 hours and have to be manually set again after that. The only thing I did not like was that you have to remove several minuscule screws to remove the battery compartment cover. A quick release water proof compartment would be much better like I have in my other controller types.

I originally purchased the Orbit B-Hyve and *hated* the app interface. I found this brand and am happy with it. The Gateway seems to be more powerful than the Orbit's wifi dongle; I have a pretty big house, and front and back yard timers all have 100% connectivity strength. I was especially attracted to the "batch watering" feature, which lets you set up all the timers to run one-at-a-time in a sequence, to keep the water pressure high. My only complaint about this feature is that it is an on-demand trigger - you can't set it up as a repeated program.Make sure you know what you are buying. There are three options:- Timer + Gateway + water flow sensor- Timer + water flow sensor- Timer onlyThe system requires a Gateway to work. Once you have one, you add timers to it. I bought my third timer because the price seemed lower than usual, and it turned out that was because it did not include the water flow sensor. That's not a big deal, but make sure you know what you are selecting when you order.I do have to add that I get some satisfaction when the watering cycle skips due to to rain forecasts, while other people's systems are going during the rain. That's just silly!Lastly, be aware that the timers are fairly large, and I could not fit two next to each other on my 4-port bronze spigot splitter.Overall I am very happy with this brand and the devices!

After receiving the product, I only realized that I was missing an additional component, without which it is an ordinary button faucet. All the functionality I was looking for is provided by the missing gateway. I do not criticize whether it worked, but I was misled about what the package contains, how it should look like after installation.

Venture into the world of smart gardening with the LinkTap G1S Wireless Water Timer, a device that aims to revolutionize how you water your garden. Unfortunately, this revolution is more of a mild disturbance, leaving much to be desired in the realms of functionality and reliability.Let's start with the glaring omission: the Gateway, which is not included. This is like selling a car without the keys. The absence of the Gateway limits the device's functionality significantly, leaving you with a smart device that's not so smart after all.The promise of a 'Greater Range Than WiFi' is a bold claim that falls short in practice. You might find the range to be as temperamental as a moody teenager, with connectivity issues that make remote watering a game of hit and miss. It's like trying to catch a radio signal in a tunnel – frustrating and futile. Then there's the issue of weather awareness, a feature that's supposed to be one of its selling points. However, the LinkTap G1S seems to have a different understanding of local weather conditions, often leading to watering decisions that defy logic. It's like having a weatherman who always predicts sunshine, even as it pours rain.Battery life is another area where the device underperforms. While it boasts a 2-year battery life, in reality, the batteries seem to drain faster than a leaky bucket. This not only adds to the maintenance cost but also the inconvenience, especially when the device decides to nap mid-irrigation cycle. In summary, the LinkTap G1S Wireless Water Timer is like a promising novel with missing pages. It leaves you wondering what could have been if only it had lived up to its promises. The concept is there, but the execution is as dry as an unwatered garden bed.

This is our third summer using LinkTap water timers. We have five timers. The first two years of use they worked perfectly. This spring, one of the timers sprung a leak (there was a snow after the May 15 last frost date. Even though we covered the valve, it may have frozen). Later in the summer, another timer lost connection to the internet. I emailed customer support and they immediately sent out replacements. What awesome service! We are super grateful for these valves, especially because having a professionally installed system would have cost thousands of dollars and trenching a powerline to open the valves would have been a pain. I also appreciate how the company continues to improve the interface and the valves. Life is Good!

Superior quality and user interface. The only negative note is for the fragility of the plastic bolt. If it breaks you need to replace the whole thing. At least I have not found an alternative
