I love this yarn. I love how the colors transition from one to the other with no knots. I am currently crocheting a king size blanket with the this yarn. I love to switch from one color pallet to another to make the blanket the most colorful it can be.

The color was pretty consistent and yarn quality was pretty good. I didn't find any manufacturers knots with made it easier to work with, did not squeek when worked with. The yarn stayed soft even after washing it several times. I'm pretty happy with the final outcome.

While I live this color way and the yarn itself is good overall.. I have a small complaint. The gauge of the yarn narrows in some places within the skein. Very noticeably so, it appears like maybe it was compressed in those places, they aren’t too frequent, and they aren’t too long, but they are there and bother me a bit as it’s not just enough that the crocheter would feel it, but I can see it. Outside of that, I LOVE it! For the project I am using it on I don’t believe it will have a major impact on the outcome, but for other projects it could be more of an issue. I think it’s a fair price, the colors are stunning, overall the yarn weight seems accurate outside the compressed parts, while I wouldn’t refer to it as a “soft” yarn, I do think it has a nice soft feel if loosely stitched. I love that it’s a cake vs a skein or hank, because there’s very little change for tangles and no real need to unravel and rewind the yarn. Very easy pull (probably my favorite thing).

I really enjoy working with the Lion Brand Mandala yarn. It's softness is nice make the project fell soft and squishy, it does not feel stiff or irritate your skin, washes well. Colors are brilliant and so far haven't lost their depth. The only thing is I wish there was heavier weight options. Also it would be nice if all cakes were rolled the same so it wouldn't be so difficult to have rows of colors more evenly distributed. I'm sure if I had more experience I could do better.

Se teje muy bien, tiene una cantidad razonable y no es muy cara. Para un chal normal alcanza. Los colores se combinan y acomodan bien en el tejido.

I’m really loving Mandala Yarn! The yardage is fantastic at 590 yards, making it perfect for larger projects without running out too quickly. The yarn itself is incredibly soft and works up beautifully with a nice drape, giving all my pieces a polished, professional look. I’ve used it for scarves, tops, and even blanket throws, and it performs wonderfully every time. The variegated color changes are stunning, and the gradient transitions are smooth and subtle, adding so much visual interest to my projects. This yarn is perfect for anyone looking for something that’s both easy to work with and has gorgeous, vibrant color shifts. Definitely a go-to for my future crochet creations!

It specifically says that you get 1 pack of 3 cakes for the cost and I only received 1 cake. This is a rip off!!!! I should have received 3 cakes of yarn. I will not recommend this to anyone

This ball of yarn is enough to make a narrow long scarf.Normally I buy my yarn elsewhere but his colour was not available from my 2 main yarn shops, and was very please with it when it arrived. It is soft enough for scarves, you could buy multiple ones for a blanket - I would say about 4 for a baby blanket.it washes well but does get a bit fluffy ( I have bought this yarn in different colours before and used it and washed the final products , some of them many times. The colour transition for this mandala yarn is clunkky, no gentle changes like with the scheepjes yarn, just bang another colour, sort of like getting multiple balls of different colour yarn in one roll.it is a good DK size thread, that is easy to work with - I use the ball from the inside out ( start with the end in the middle) this keeps it from bouncing around the place.Beware - the colours are not always ( in fact rarely) as shown in the photo from the manufacturer. The colours are intrinsically the same, but the order varies all the time, for example the photo shows the inside of the ball being light cream moving to light pink, getting darker with the darkest on the edge.Mine arrived with only light pink in the middle, moving to darker, and hten the cream and some more light pink on the edge. So essentially the same yarn, but the order it comes in varies as to where on the roll it was cut for your ball. For one ball, using the whole thing, not a big issue, but if you are using more than one, well, let me tell you, it gets super annoying, you end up having to unravel half the ball, cut it, start there, and then rejoin and work backwards through the remaining yarn to keep the colour progression going through multiple balls in one project.hope this helps.
