The price was outrageous and the packaging was poor. It bolted right up to my Lippert leveling jacks on a 2014 Itasca Sunstar. It worked initially, we shall see how long it lasts.

Well, like other reviews seen, the $900.00 motor came in poorly packaged with bubble wrap and holes punched thru the thin box. The motor appeared to be not damaged and installed easily. It works initially, and will see if it continues.. I would hope that Amazon would address the packaging in the future.

This motor is for the leveling system in my motor home. The original one burned up with less than twenty leveling cycles use. This replacement cost over $850.00 and that was the BEST price I could find, and some I located were over $1100.00. In comparison, I couldn't find a similar 12 VDC reversible motor for any purpose other than this specific leveling system that was over $250.00 and I looked at HUNDREDS of them.Additionally, the packaging was pathetic. When I received the motor, one of the contact studs was sticking out of one of the many holes they had made in the box during shipment. The flange on the pump mating end, was dented and marked up so bad I had to take a file and crocus cloth and about an hour of labor to make the mating surface true enough for it to properly mate with the pump. Yes, the shaft has a coupling to mate with the pump drive, but it's not a flexible one intended to make up for misalignments, just a solid one to fill the gap. I will say it works well and appears a little quieter than the original one.Be advised you must also purchase a new pump/motor coupling for this that Amazon didn't have at the time. Make sure you get the new style coupling with the two O-Rings. You may have to get that separately from the manufacturer.
