It is very clear and thin, flexible enough to use as a keyboard cover for my laptop. There are two cover sheets you peel away. At first, I thought it was way too thick. But once you removed the top and bottom covers, it was better than advertised.I can peel it away if I want. Easy to clean.

I have a number of desiccant containers used for moisture control in a large safe. I have 12, and rotate them in and out of service four at a time about once a month. The quarter size lens in each cap is sufficient to check for the color change identifying the substrates exhaustion. The weakness in this system is the lens. Some made of mica are fairly robust and last. Others are easily damaged and made of cheap plastic.Rather than tossing them out when damaged, I chose to try repairing the lens with a clear silicone piece cut to fit. Depending on how close the piece is to the inner cap an adhesive may or may not be needed. So far the silicone seems impervious to wear and is both flexible and resistant to my poking fingers. This is a nice discovery because each one pound container costs somewhere between $20 and $30.BTW, the containers can be recharged over and over again by placing one or all in an over set for 325 degrees. Left for three hours, the moisture absorbed in the many thousands of small round spheres will evaporate, returning the canister to functionality. Shacking the containers to redistribute the material is not required. But, if you are forced to shorten the cycle time it will help.

I first ordered a sheet that was 2mm thick, ripped the first time I used it. This sheet is 5mm and is solid. No issues using it on Kydex holster.
