Great can and I like how the lid seals it feels pretty tight. Stored a bunch of stuff and used silicia gel packets to keep everything dry.

This is the perfect ammo can. I have not tested in underwater, but I believe it is waterproof, given the super high quality. When locked, with a separate pad lock, it is like a tank. I got one the first time, and was so impressed, I've purchased 6 more (and am thinking about buying a couple more). They can store ammo, or anything you need secure. I've got one in my car, many in a storage room (to store ammo) and three (so far) in my office, to store miscellaneous firearms-related items (e.g., parts, a taser). They stack perfectly and do the job.

I just purchased several of the 50 cal. cans, and was absolutely surprised by the product quality. Fit, finish and overall construction far exceeds anything I've seen in years. Really excellent. When I first looked at comparative prices, I had some doubt, but not after actually seeing/using the product. Opting for a metal case vs. plastic turned out to be the best choice for me. These are "lifetime" purchases and now that I see the actual product, I will be buying more. The lock and latch mechanisms work well and these are beyond sturdy. Strong top handle makes it easy to transport- so great for home storage and for taking to the range. The customizable foam inserts seem like a great feature depending on how you use these. This company really knows how to design and build a durable and useful product. Impressive.

I purchased the 50 Cal black metal box, and it is perfect! I was also surprised that they double boxed this product and had cushioning for it. No scratches or dents when I opened it up, the black coloring of it is smexy looking too! I was easily able to fit 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 into this guy. The latch for it feels and looks Incredible strong as well! Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I want to wait a month or so and see if this guy holds up, I will update my review when time passes!Edit. Well more than a month went by, these ammo cans are great, they work wonderfully for me when going to the range, indoor or out. When outside they can get scratches kind of easily but that's just the name of the game, can't really work around that unless you're gonna be oh so precious and careful with them. Ten out of ten would recommend

Oddly, my shipment was "delayed" in Atlanta, but somehow finally made it my address yesterday and now shows "Not Available". The product itself is fine - good fit and finish, the clasp closes tightly, and the seal intact. Took a couple of drops of oil and massaged it into the gasket seal for good measure, dropped in a pack of dessicant and loaded her up with extra unloaded magazines... three 30-round and 5 empty 7.62 magazines, 5 empty handgun magazines, and a large packet of misc. heirloom seeds for later use. Overall, this is a great product - a bit pricey, but I consider it cheap insurance against moisture and light. Don't know what caused the unusual shipping delays, though - hopefully the seller will get things right with Amazon and continue to offer it.
