It works a little differently than teflon tape so watch a YouTube video before use but I’m very happy with this product. I’m a mobile detailer and I was looking to redo the lines on my water tank as I had some minor leaks in a couple of spots. This product is excellent at leak prevention and once you learn how to use it you’ll be impressed with the ease of application. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than other offerings but I believe it still offers a lot of value.

I thought I’d give this thread sealant a try on my boats grey water nylon pipe fittings. Not something I want to keep fixing over again. Works great. Looks like thick dental floss and feels like teflon tape. I put the recommended number of wraps on the threads and screwed the pieces together. No dry time and its adjustable even long after it’s been applied. No leaks the first time. Would buy again.

Very good cord, not sticky but sticks in the threads well. Best suited for larger threads (3/4" pipe and up) but can work on finer threads.

Un enfant pourrait l'utiliser, tellement c'est simple et bien pensé. N'étant pas un professionnel, j'ai dû m'y prendre à deux-trois reprises, jusqu'à ce que je sois content du changement d'un groupe de sécurité d'un ballon d'eau chaude (surtout que le premier que j'ai mis faisait du bruit, mais il y avait urgence !). Mais le côté étanchéité, je l'ai réussi à chaque fois, grâce à ce fil. Il se met et il s'enlève de manière hyper facile. Et aucune fuite (il est en place maintenant depuis un mois et demi). Je n'ai plus grande chose à faire avec maintenant, mais ça se garde et j'en aurai dans les prochaines années, sans doute ! Donc un peu cher, vu l'utilisation que je fais.
