If you do a lot of data entry you should learn a 10-key as it saves a lot of time. I have used this with a ChromeBook and had no synch errors or big delays btw keying and seeing the data on the screen. The keys feel like a typewriter but press down super easy. I didn’t have any difficulties adjusting from a smaller keyboard 10-key to this larger usb 10-key and the keys are more spread out. The color palette is pretty.I knew this was a USB connecting device but there are some upgrades that would make it even better, including rechargeable (batteries are required), have BT connectivity, and lastly, have an on-off switch. Currently the device falls asleep and wakes up with a key press. If you travel for work or goto your local coffee place to use the laptop, this 10-key should be more travel friendly. Oh also, it should come with some type of travel case. Despite some of the lacking features, the benefits outweigh any negatives and the keys do feel more ergonomic and fun to press.

A lot of the new keyboard layouts aren't 100% anymore. It's better that way honestly, it saves a ton of space but that's where a separate numpad comes in handy. Especially this aesthetic retro looking ten key. It connects through a dongle so you'll have to dedicate a port to it. The numpad requires a small triple A battery which is also included in the box already. There is no on or off switch so once the battery and dongle is in, it's ready to use. Though when it's idle and not in use, it will sleep to save power which is a great feature. It also has a shortcut for the arrow buttons by clicking on the num lock key. If you click it again, it will go back to the numbers. One of the highlights of using a detached numpad is that I can position it any way I like that is most comfortable for me, especially if there's a lot of work that requires data entry. You could also train your left hand to type on it so as not to overly keep straining your right wrist. It's lightweight but also doesn't slip on the surface. Love the cute round keycaps, the clicks aren't noisy at all but also satisfying to type on.
