  • ✅Transfer case repair for NP236, 246, 261, 263. 1, Discard factory protector clip. 2, If necessary, thoroughly clean area and repair hole(s) in pump pocket with an epoxy (such as JB Weld)or replace the case half. 3, Assemble front case half and place BRNY onto the pump.
  • ✅Due to variances in both OEM and aftermarket manufacturing, the pump pocket may need to be modified to allow BRNY to sit flush. If you have a problem locking the snap ring, you'll have to make the rounded corner more square in the areas highlighted. Case is now protected at all 4 contact points of the pump.

A Patented transfer case repair for NP236, 246, 261, 263.

  1. Discard factory protector clip.
  2. Clean area and repair hole(s) in pump pocket with an epoxy (such as JB Weld)or replace the case half.
  3. Assemble front case half and place onto the pump.
  4. Due to variances in both OEM and aftermarket manufacturing, the pump pocket may need to be modified to allow to sit flush. If you have a problem locking the snap ring, you'll have to make the rounded corner more square in the areas highlighted.
  5. Case is now protected at all 4 contact points of the pump.

After assembling and disassembling 60 times 'dry fitment' I cannot get the snap ring to click in. Removed the BRNY and goes together fine. Order the aluminum,upgraded, pump half. Found mine for 35$ installation tonight.Nothing wrong with this part or idea, just would not work for me. Np263hd

Installed in my new to me NP246 tcase. It looked new inside but was already exhibiting pump rub with only 75k and a factory 'fix'. Hardest part was getting the snap ring off the output to pull the case half.

This fit perfectly into my transfer case. Only time will tell if this works but I don't see why it wouldn't . I would buy this again.

Very thin material, desided not to install it. Have purchased others from local transmission shops that were far better quality. Desided to spend $120.00 and go with the quality aluminium one from BC Diesel which is made by Merchant Automotive.

Saved my bacon. Went in there for a chain replacement and found the pump cut into the case like they all do and was about to buy a $800 case and instead found this little guy and some magnesium epoxy. Bam! Good as new. Worth the money, fast shipping and it drops right in. (2004 duramax)
