These forks did not fit my beach cruiser as described. The stem was about a quarter inch too short. This was partially my fault for not taking my bike far apart and making accurate measurements prior to purchasing this product. But it was advertised to fit beach cruisers. I decided to go with a triple clamp style suspension forks, which took a little bit of work, but in the end was a much better choice for a motorized bike application.

They're probably the best Forks you're going to find for a beach cruiser especially one that has a 1-in threaded tube. I'm using it for a motorized bike and it greatly improves the ride though the forks do dive when you hit the brakes.

This Huffy only had a rear coaster brake. The brake worked well at slower speeds but when you're going 25 mph you need better brakes. The caliper mount worked well. With the new fork the groceries stay in the basket. Thanks Zoom

This shock was for my wife's bike, we used to ride mountain trails and now just ride rail trails and that sort of thing, old shock was froze upddo needen something so this seemed to fit the ticket fir 1 inch head tube threaded, easy install had to cut to length but that was easy even though it was my first timee. Has a lot more travel than I was expecting. Now mind you if you are into serious mountaIN BIKING THIS MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD MATCH FOR WIFE'S BIKE IT IS PERFECT

This is really an exceptional front fork for the money. Sure there are better modern threadless 1 1/8" forks available in the same price range, but in most cases if you're looking for an old-school 1" THREADED fork you're going to pay out the nose or not be able to find a match at all. This fork is super sturdy and has about 3 1/2" of travel. I use it on a 66cc motorized bike which I built on a cheap walmart beach cruiser that would only accept a 1" threaded style. I paired this fork with a threaded to threadless quill stem adapter so that i could use it with a modern threadless stem. I saw another reviewer on here comment on how the bottom bearing race would not fit without grinding but I did not have that problem at all. Like all other 1" forks, the bottom of the tube is very slightly tapered in order to ensure a tight fit for the race. Put some grease on the taper and give the race a few taps with a flat screwdriver bit by bit all the way around and it slides right in, easy-peasy. Also this is a spring fork, NOT gas. Remember that the threads on the tube are super long and you're going to need to cut a few inches off of the tube unless you want your handlebars ridiculously high.

The fork is actually fine. It's not supposed to be a high end fork and it will do the job. The only problem was that the 1" fork crown headset race didn't fit. I had to do a lot of grinding to make it work, an effort that should not have to be done. As long as you have the knowledge & tools to do this, or are willing to take it to a shop at extra expense, think twice. I, fortunately, run a bike repair shop and could do this in-house.
