Great tool for weeding. Light weight enough for long jobs, yet sturdy enough to get the job done. Fantastic customer service. Had a problem when one of the claw prongs broke, and they sent me another out. Highly recommend.

I am a frequent user of this tool, which I use to remove garlic mustard and yearling honeysuckle plants from woodlands. The area where I work is rocky, and unfortunately, I have broken all three of the raking prongs. Despite this, before the prongs broke, I regularly sharpened both the adze blade and the rake prongs.Although I wish the tool was sturdier, I acknowledge that is it is a hand-forged piece and is unable to withstand the kind of intense usage I put it through. A tool that does not break would be too heavy to lug around the woods, so it is what it is. I accept the fault as simply a limitation on an otherwise very handy tool.Over the years, I have used many heavy gauge stamped out products, but I found myself being cautious with those tools as they were prone to bending and also breaking at the welds. I have been much happier with this product than with lesser-built tools. I plan to order another when the adze blade breaks off, which I know it will soon.

I’ve had it a few weeks. I like the design and weight but the center tine snapped off this morning, 3 minutes into the FIRST USE in the garden. Probably a faulty casting. The individual fingers are kind of thin but if it were forged, there is no way it would have broken. I’ll see if I can return it.

The item works fantastic. I would say it's best for people with small hands due to the handle being narrow. Works great at moving dirt. I have larger hands and itvworks. I would not buy this unit again only because the size. The quality is there and won't fail you.

I search many stores where I lived for a Dual Head Rake and Hoe. I needed one ASAP for planting in my garden but couldn't find one that was built tuff, and one that would last me for years, until I looked on Amazon. NO QUESTION, this is the very best, with the lowest price, STOUT, and TUFF. I would suggest for your help though, use a hammer and tap the dual head rake / hoe onto the handle (IT SHOULD ONLY FIT ONE WAY) to set it tight, then I tipped it upside down and placed alittle super glue around the rim of the handle just to make sure it would fasten sure. This has worked great for me.

I highly recommend the "single head sharp hoe" (pointed, heart shaped).Great handle color and comfort. Handle could be a little thicker, but it's not a problem. Although the pointed tip is more blunt than sharp, it still has good penetration into soil due to limited contact area. Helpful for weeding or planting. I liked it so much I ordered a second style, which turned out to be disappointing....I do NOT recommend the "single head hoe." The single head hoe is manufactured with the eye hole rotated slightly, so that the edge of the hoe does not point naturally lined up with the oval handle. I returned one hoping it was a defect, and the replacement arrived with the same problem. The manufacturer either has a bad casting, bad forging, or a bad batch. As it turns out, you can even see the cant in one of the manufacturer's product photo labeled "multiple choice." I used a dremel and about 90 minutes to rework the eye of the replacement, because I really like the handle, and I like the design (basically a mini "grub hoe." I got the hoe pointed in the right forward direction, but it is also twisted a little.Others tried recently.:Luban all stainless hoe/rake combo - hoe end is great, but I bent a rake tine using it as a garden fork on weeds in not very hard soil, and didn't even know I bent it. And the handle on that one, while comfortable, is too smooth.Kings county heart hand mattock, light and effective, with wood handle, but after a few uses, lost it. That's why I bought this one, similar shape with hi vis handle.A Corona polished aluminum hoe/rake, too light to be a serious yard tool for chopping into soil (and "edge" dings quickly on rocks), maybe okay if scraping and raking in super soft loose soil.

There may be better versions of this out there, but this one works just fine. My daughter went to town with it mostly tearing out vines that had been established over years. It needed some sharpening with a file but the edge has held up well. I might have preferred something with a bit more quality, like an oak or similar wood handle and a blade that was more nicely forged, rather than cast, as I believe this was. But hey. for the price, this one works well. Use it with a good pair of gloves and enjoy.

I have a larger version of this that is invaluable for digging where you'll encounter roots, but wanted a smaller one for tighter spaces. This is perfect for use digging, where you might be hitting rocks with the cutting edge and don't want to use a nice axe to cut through tree roots. This came decently sharp for a cheap tool, but needed touch up with a file to be evenly sharp. The head appears to be reasonably well made and coated with some sort of glossy powder coat. The handle is plastic, which is good for something that will take some abuse, but I do question the long term durability. Oh well, I can make a replacement handle. The handle is quite thin through the grip area, reminding me more of a tomahawk handle than an axe. It's reasonably comfortable but I'd prefer a fatter grip. Overall, a decent cheap tool I can abuse with a clean conscience.
