I bought this to use in a beginner drawing class. If that is what you are looking to do, this is a great choice. However, I would suggest that you purchase a larger sketch book to use as the one that comes with the kit is rather small. This is a good value and a great design for ease of use as a beginner.

Got a couple of these as gifts for my teenage grandchildren. The sketch books are kind of small but they do fit nicely in the compact case. If I had thought it through I would have included a larger sketchpad and or some extra drawing paper along with this gifted set.I have heard updates that they are enjoying them and have watched videos on shading techniques.I look forward to seeing some of their creations on my next visit.

My son's like to draw while we are on the road and this is a great set. I've added in an activity book on the left and took out the 800 pencils and added scissors, markers, a pen, and other crafty things in those slots. I like that it zips all the way around so nothing slips out when being transported. Over all a great purchase.

My 7 year old daughter loves this set, not a lot of paper so make sure you buy more. She went through it in a couple days, but overall it’s good quality and worth the price.

This was a gift for my great nephew who loves to draw. He’s in the car a lot going to the vacation house or down to visit Grandma and Aunt’s in the South. I thought what a great travel gift. He opened it and was like OMG this is so cool. He opened his other gifts quickly and went write back to this sketch kit. He began examining everything in it and then sketched the rest of the party. To say he loved it wouldn’t be strong enough! My niece called on December 26 as they were driving up North and he was sketching in his favorite gift!
