Glue strip with paper was there for just a few feet. After that the paper was missing and exposed glue sealed the scrolls for next several feet. Then, there was no more glue strip for the rest of the roll.

We did use underlayment tape and stapled in corners to keep it in place. LVP Flooring required 1mm underlayment to qualify for Shaw flooring warranty. This was a 2nd floor install, so the concept of "soundproofing" appealed to me. However, sleeping downstairs I hear every foot step in the room above me...

First time installing vinyl flooring. The planks had padding but I wanted a little more. It was very easy to use and with a little care you won't tear it. It has a much better feel than the laminate flooring it replaced

The product is good, but it’s hard to cut it straight and you need to buy tape since it’s hard to keep it perfectly line up without help of tape
