M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2... was a good value. It performed well and I could clone my M.2 2TB SSD without any problems once I had the right cloning program. The program I first tried had problems. I used EasyUS Disk Copy 6.0.1 and this enclosure did the trick. I am very pleased with my purchase. I found that you must use the USB cable that comes with it or it will not work. I find this USB connectivity to be a safety feature. I had no heat problems with the enclosure and considered the speed and compatibility to be very satisfactory.

The M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C Enclosure hooks up easily to a USB-c Cable and connects instantly. I used it to transfer 734GB form my btoken Gateway All in One computer and the data transfer was fast and easy. No formatting was needed, just plug the device in and you are good to go. Mine is now connected via a USB -C cable to my newer Hp All In One Computer for misc data storage and backups if needed, A good vlaue and it stays online whenever the computer is on.

Very nice case and cord. Connects flawlessly to Windows 11 on first try, no extra steps required. Good value, only $2 more than the least expensive adaptor, which does not include case or cord.

got this to check a drive that was in a dead computer that i was given.enclosure very easy to use though manual showed no instructions, but they are in the pics on product page. I do not like the cord as i think i got a defective cord but have many usb c cords. Fast stable data transfers i decided to push it a little by putting 6 36 gig folders onto the drive and then delete all but one while copying 36 gig back and 36 to the drive. Enclosure worked like a charm. Handles data transfers like a champ. I just think i got a bad cord.

This M.2 NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter is a lifesaver! I had an extra SSD lying around, and this enclosure turned it into a super-fast external drive. The 10Gbps speed is no joke—transferring large files happens in seconds. It’s well-built, compact, and fits easily in my travel bag. Setup was a breeze—just pop in the SSD, and it’s ready to go. The USB-C connection is solid, and it doesn’t overheat, even after long transfers. Perfect for anyone needing extra storage or a quick way to back up files. Definitely worth the buy!

After several months of use, my wife, the day before her photo presentation, got "D: is not accessible. Incorrect function". Tried a number of things including chkdsk /r and several tools, nothing would let us mount the drive. Thanks to a reddit post, we decided to overnight a different enclosure and thankfully that worked. There's nothing physically wrong with this one, it doesn't seem to have overheated, but apparently there's an issue with the enclosure chipset and some SSDs. If you get that error, try a different enclosure.

Not sure, if this will last. Perhaps I'm a bit old fashioned but if you look at the photos on the sales page, you will see that the bottom slide is made of plastic. Also, the SSD that you install in it is NOT held down by a screw but a plastic 'plug'. There are extra ones supplied with the holder but yet something to store somewhere that you'll have handy or never forget where you placed them.I worry that the plastic parts the holder slide at the bottom of the enclosure or the plastic 'plug' holding the SSD will wear down and not hold the inner workings or the SSD, due to normal wear and tear/usage or just plain old snap.-----------10/15/2024 Revision:Now, please don't misunderstand me. I am NOT bashing Delxing or their choice of plastic or its design. Unfortunately, I've been a recipient of plastic used in products that snap, break or the edges wear smooth or smaller as time goes by. I gave them a 4 because it works! It works quite well! I have used it many times so far and each time, it has worked great! My major concern is the use of a plastic plug, which will wear down. I do see it getting a bit thinner because each time used with the minor wear and tear, so to speak. If they would have had configured a metal screw that is used in the majority of these enclosures to hold down the SSD, I would have given them a 5-star review. The bottom part of the SSD enclosure is fine for using plastic. I owned something similar that was plastic and it broke. Yes, super glue wouldn't work, painters tape did. Not pretty but it did the job. Using tape on the inside of the enclosure on the board.....not me!
