Item works as expected. Be careful with an empty clip. I put it on my empty clip and pushed down to see how it worked and with pressure only on one spot.of the clip tray it roated the clip tray. Luckily I let go in time to keep the tray rotating far enough to pop out of the clip. This issue would be the same with any ezloader of this design so learning curve learned. Once I put one bullet it ot worked as expected.

After 3 or 4 uses, the tab broke off. Kinda necessary for being able to push each round down to load the next. While this was inexpensive (compared to others), it's ruggedness was proportional to what you paid for it. When new, it worked and fit the magazine great. If it was made of another material, it would have been a great product.

Did the job on my M&P Shield 9mm but the tab broke after loading just 3 magazines.Update 8/20/2018: increased to 3 stars once i heard from RangeTray that they are sending a no charge replacement. I'll update again once i have a chance to try the new one.

Product works as expected and does the job; Shield mags are notoriously stiff and hard to load the last rounds. This loader makes quick work of reloads and keeps your thumbs happy!

Got this for my Smith & Wesson 9mm Shield. Perfectly fits both the standard 7 round and 8 round extended magazine. Makes it 100% easier to load bullets into these otherwise tight magazines. The only catch is that I have to load the first bullet manually so the spring follower doesn't tilt up and jam but that is no big deal - I think that is pretty standard procedure for speed loaders.
