Ram rebel 5gen, I was looking for something close to stock but more aggressive. I tried the 14inch magnaflow first but louder than i wanted although sounded great. The 14" had more cabin drone than i liked and was pretty loud at cold start has rumble at idol. You can hear it most of the time when driving in the city. Went up in size with the 18" and was exactly what i was looking for. Has good loud rumble at cold start but quiet at idol. sounds awesome when accelerating but quiet when driving and no cabin noise at cursing speed. Its the perfect medium.

The sound is great and gives that extra little bit of power/efficiency you would expect when upgrading from a stock muffler. Fitted perfectly without issues on a 2004 TJ. Would buy again.

So I wanted a upgrade on my 2015 sierra to hear the motor and let the engine breath a little better. Removed the stock muffler and left the resonator and flapper valve on. The truck sounds good with the valve closed. When held oped using the mod its too loud. Great tone not raspy Ishould have gotten the bigger muffler and omited the valve. Glad I did not get the 14" body one. It has just the right amound of sound for me and lets you know its not stock when you mash the gas. I have also noticea an improvement in fuel :)

When first installed I was a bit disappointed with the noise level , it was very similar to stock , after 2 weeks it gets louder but not too loud and it’s perfect if you want something a bit more aggressive but not over board. It’s our family truck so it works good.

I have always had Dodges and Jeeps, and have always run Flowmaster mufflers. I've had most of the different series they make, and loved the sound. But I have a 5.7 Hemi in a Jeep now and tried a Flowmaster 50 series on it, and it sounded great at idle but had a rattling sound around 1200-1500 RPM. The bad thing is when the Hemi cold starts, it stays in that RPM range for about 30 seconds. It's loud, obnoxious, and sounds like crap. I tried to put a resonator on it and that did help, but the rattling sound was still there. So I finally took everyone's advice and got this Magnaflow muffler, it's the first one I've ever owned - and I'll be buying a lot more of them. It's stainless compared to the steel Flowmaster, the welds look better, and the sound is totally different. There is no rattle at all, not at any RPM. From idle at 700 RPM to hammering it around 4000 RPM, there is no bad sound at all. It just sounds awesome the entire time. The tone is deeper and more mellow but it's still just as loud as the Flowmaster, which I'm fine with. It's hard to find words to describe the difference but I can honestly say that it is night and day difference, and everyone at work noticed immediately too. I highly recommend this muffler for Hemi trucks/Jeeps.

This muffler was installed on a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2 V8 and an AEM High Flow intake as well as a Magnaflow High Flow Catalytic Converter and an 18 inch 3.5 inch tip all done with 3 inch stainless pipes. I had a 14 inch Flowmaster 40 Series with a Flowmonster High Flow Cat with a 12 inch 3.5 inch tip all done with 2.5 inch pipes and it sounded awesome when you revved it and when it was idling,Driving was an entirely different story..The Drone was absolutely ridiculous and just got to the point while driving on the highway I couldn't take it anymore so I decided to go with a slightly larger muffler..Yes the Magnaflow definitely outflows the Flowmaster HOWEVER I don't think it sounds as good BUT it IS alot quieter UNTIL you get till about 70+ then it pretty much seems the same..I wasn't thrilled to say the least BUT for now it IS no where near as annoying while driving in the city..I wouldn't say there was a huge gain in power compared to the 2 mufflers like other reviews I have read led me to believe. The Flowmaster does have deflectors inside to obtain the sound they get which I think restricts the flow obviously I can tell there IS a difference but just not like OMG it's way faster or anything like that. The Magnaflow is a straight thru design which IMHO is WAY better It doesn't sound as mean or aggressive but yes like other reviewers have said when you step on it it does sound awesome. The construction of the Magnaflow is also WAY better than the Flowmaster. It's pretty much all preference if you ask me but I am very happy having tried both brands I will never switch back. From now on it's Magnaflow hands down all the way.Thank you all for taking the time to read my review hopefully this helps someone looking to add some performance as well as something that seems like it should last forever.
