I’ve been happy with this magnetic stirrer. It’s for lighter weight applications. The lower the viscosity the better. I’ve been using it to mix e-juices and I had no issues with a 50vg/50pg mixture. Using the stirrer is easy, just center your container with magnetic mixer and turn the speed dial. The stirrer seems to be of quality. My only criticism is it would be nice if the top plate was sealed to the unit with a center target. For the price this is a good value. I do recommend this magnetic stirrer for low viscosity applications.

This is a very lightweight stirrer. It worked well with water and a 250ml beaker, and should work with larger beakers and flasks, but it might struggle with higher viscosity fluids. That said, for everyday tasks it is great; light, small, quick to deploy with a good range of speeds.

The motor runs smoothly, and the included stir bar works well to create a consistent vortex.One thing to note is that the unit is extremely lightweight—almost surprisingly so. While this makes it easy to move around, it also means it might shift slightly on the surface during use, especially at higher speeds. A bit more weight or grip on the bottom would have been ideal.Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable and efficient stirrer without heating, this is a great choice—just be mindful of its ultra-light build!

My husband uses this stirrer in his lab and loves it. It works perfectly and reliably. It also allows more liquid to be used than his previous stirrer. There is a hum from the base until the magnet is applied. Magnet is strong and has good inductive coupling. He's very happy with this stirrer and has retired his previous one.

Great magnetic stirrer. Does a fine job of spinning a magnetic stir bar in containers placed on its surface. No problems or issues. Great value and utility. Recommended!
