received in only 2 days, all carefully packaged several sizes of stirrer bar, very useful in the field of mushroom growing, 1 year that I have it and still works like new and the support in case of problem is very present and responsive, (for my part nothing broke) I had technical questions to ask about the stirrer, I recommend

I got it to work but think I had the cup too full. I intend to try again with a smaller amount. It just did not seem to pull the top part down to the bottom to mix. Either my liquid was too thick or the amount too much. Trying a smaller cup with less liquid next time

I like this stirrer it works well and looks smart. I especially thought it was worth getting the magnetic stir bars with it as they have been useful and it’s much more expensive to get a set of them separately!

I've had one of these for a few years, and recently discovered the fact that water has 4 phases - ice, steam, liquid, and recently discovered (within the last 10 years) liquid crystal water. It's liquid but the molecules move coherently, like a school of fish does. One way to make structured water is to put it in a vortex - tornado-looking situation - in a container for 7 minutes or so. If it's in the sunlight even better. On Amazon there are a few structured water devices - mostly very expensive - but this stirrer does it for $30 ($40 if you get the stirrer bar combo). Put a quart Mason jar full of filtered water on it, center the stirring bar in the center of the jar and have at it.I've been drinking structured water for a few days and so far it's increased my hydration and I feel better in a general way. Not sure if it's as beneficial as some say but I'll keep at it and hope for the best.Worth the money to experiment for sure.

Never can tell by reviews and since this is the only one I got I can't compare to others but here is what I knowPOWER SUPPLY - it was kind of hard getting in the first time and I worried since that seemed to be an issue for some people but once I got it in it is fine, no issues.SPEED - yes, you need to turn it to almost half way to get the capsule spinning but once spinning you can turn it down to about a quarter for a slow spin. I played with the speed a lot and there is definitely a sweet spot, too fast and the capsule will fly off but that is because the air sucked down by the vortex causes too much turbulence. The more liquid you have and the thicker it is you can spin it pretty fast but most things having it set to 1/2 is plenty fast.THE SPINNER CAPSULES - I got the set of 7, you can get by with the one size for most things, the big one is for slower spinning I think and the smallest one is super tiny, smaller than a TicTak and I don't even know why there is a plastic tweezer but the retrieval rod works nicely. The tiny capsule works great for a very small beaker and that one you can go full speed.STRENGTH - while I have not done anything super viscous, I have tried out several different liquids using multiple amounts of the liquid and trying out several sized beakers and basically I found a size capsule in the set that worked for what ever I tried mixing and the fact that you need to turn it up half way to get it going is NOT an issue because you just need to do that to get the thing going and then you can turn it down to a slower speed.I got this for home kitchen stuff, nothing really scientific, mostly for things that require a lot of stirring to dissolve different things. To really test it I put two cups of sugar in a gallon of cold water and while I had to stir the water some just to get the capsule moving, once it was going it ran fine and if you know anything about sugar, in cold water is dissolves very slowly and not having to pay attention to it, it seemed to be dissolved in no time. It's definitely worth it to get the multi capsule set and you just have to play around with it to get a feel for how it works - IT WORKS WELL for what it does.I let it run a full day at about 1/3 speed and had no issues, didn't warm up or quite working,CONTAINERS - a flat bottom with thin glass is best but I have tried it our with gallon jars that do NOT have a flat bottom, and mason jars and some glasses that are kind of thick on the bottom and this work with everything after I found the sweet spot. Any reviews saying that there is an issue with speed or magnet strength or problems with how fast it goes are in my opinion purely user error, this device works great and for 30 bucks it far exceeded my expectations.

I did a lot of researching to determine what is good and what is not with magnetic stirrers, so when this arrived I was immediately struck with how well it is made. The stainless steel is very nice and after using it for several weeks now is still stainless! The switch for adjusting speed is very well made and has nice "tension" to it as it is adjusted. A great buy with the added container of various sized magnetic "beans". Highly recommended.

I purchased it 2 years ago and it’s been great for calligraphy. I use it to stir all my metallic/shimmery inks and it works fantastic. I keep my inks in dinky dips for easy usage with oblique pen. The included magnetic are too large to use, so I purchased tiny 3x5 mm magnets and a silicone cup to secure the dinky dip. Some people complain that the stirrer doesn’t work on slow speeds or is too loud. The trick is to find the best location on the stirrer. In mine the stirrer is quiet and stirs very slowly when the magnet/bottle is placed slightly off centered. Refer to picture.

I put this magnetic stirrer to use as soon as I received it. It’s very light weight & simple to use. I am currently using it to stir a liquid culture of mushroom mycelium. The vessel I’m using is a quart size mason jar & it works well, however if I turn it up past half power it throws the magnet to the side of the jar. Although I haven’t tested this theory, im fairly certain this happens because the bottom of the jar is slightly curved. Pretty sure if I used a vessel with a flat bottom I would be able to turn the power up higher without the magnet getting tossed to the side.It works well for my intended purpose & I’m pleased with my purchase.
