I needed to replace my old screen by this brand. It was the rod version. I was hesitant about the magnetic strip and others using it. Even my GSD is happy, which less face it, matters more about going in and out than anyone. It is thick enough to show quality workmanship. The Velcro option is nice, but the tacks worked easier for me. I installed it on my own with a step stool. The magnetic seal is excellent. Just when I think it’s not going to seal shut, the very next second it closes right up. Great value and has already gone through a rough use with the summer coming to an end.

This is a great product that is easy to install and requires no tools (MAYBE a hammer if you want to increase strength at the edges which I did). While Amazon sells standard sizes, if you go to the website you can enter A) any dimensions, B) the color choice of white, gray or black and C) where you want the opening... the left, the right or center. Took our fur baby @ 2 minutes to be a pro at getting in or out. This looks attractive and is fantastic at keeping insects out of the house. Buy this without reservation but expect to wait a feww weeks for it to be made and arrive. Totally worth it!

A double door and so we made the decision since we only keep one open to get a screen that covered the whole door. We did put it up following the directions, which were easy to understand, and what you see is our finished work.More importantly, this keeps the bugs and debris out because of the seal we were able to get following their directions, but we can easily go in and out. The bonus plan is that it is very hard to tell there is a screen there. The quality seems to be holding up very good as we are in and out constantly.

I initially purchased one of these in 2020 to fit a sliding glass condo door. I routinely grill on my balcony and it's been in hot afternoon sun since then. As you can see in the attached pic, the material did become worn and, where the magnets are sewn in, eventually gave way. The balcony is covered by the upstairs unit so the damage was not caused by rain, just being exposed mostly to sun.I came here to buy a new one and thought I should leave this review just to let you know that this is not a permanent installation. If it's in the rain it might deteriorate more quickly. But until the fabric failed the only thing I had to do was to change out some of the velcro that was stuck to the top of the door frame. It bears most of the weight of the screen and gave way about once a year. I always take the chance to take it down and run some soapy water over it to clean it a bit.Overall I was really pleased to find this and that it's still for sale. It's low tech but really works well and looks nice in place.

I wanted something to allow more air flow into our home and thought I’d try this but I was a little worried it would block our view of the backyard and the bird feeders, and also lol a little tacky on the doorway. We are pleasantly surprised that it doesn’t block the view, doesn’t look bad at all, and we can hear the birds chirping all day! The installation was super easy and it comes with the option of comes with Velcro and tacks. We used the Velcro. The only negative (which really isn’t bad) is that there’s a gap at the bottom that could allow critters in. I feel like we could fix that pretty easily somehow so it’s not a deal breaker. The magnets work well and close right away and the screen itself seems sturdy so we’re happy with the purchase.

Magnets are strong and works well. We had to resize the width to fit our odd size enclosure and were able to use a regular sewing machine stitch the seem. Overall very good quality. Very satisfied

This one worked fine for our door way. The doorway measured 38" ( the door itself is 36" across) with the doorway (screen frame/door jamb) at about 38". This magnetic screen worked great. It had about 3/4" to spare in each end. Even so, by the time I got it taped to the inside (not in front of) the screen frame/door jamb, it worked ok with room to spare.The weird thing is that the little Velcro "latch" was on the outside of the screen. I think it should have been sewn on the inside. But the instructions said to have the velcro loop side face up and then attach the velcro tape face down. And when you do that and take the screen to the door jamb, the latch looks like it ends up on the outside. So I switched the screen around so the latch was on the inside. Then I had to tape the sticky backside of the velcro strip to the inside of the door jamb. I think it's how it's supposed to be even though the instructions doesn't make it clear. I improvised I got it to work. To be clear, I wanted the latch on the inside, I had to compromise and get the screen taped up on the inside of the door jamb. As such, I could not get the center of the topline to be above the rest of the topline. This resulted in the occasional lower magnets of the last foot of the screen to not close all the time. Occasionally, about 1 out of every 10 entry/exits, the bottom 12" might not close all the way. That was because I could not mount the center too of the screen any higher than the rest of the screen. Even when closed, note that there is some flexibility of the screen that allows an opening at the base but that's ok. It's the flying mosquitos and the flies we want to keep out which are generally flying above and not below. Not a big deal. The appearance for this doorway was more important than the practicality. We used this screen for a condo doorway going up for sale and wanted it to keep the insects out for the open house showing. I believe it will serve well with long term use as well.It comes with some tacks. However the velcro is very very strong and the glue on the back side is very strong. I had no trouble getting it to adhere to the door jamb even without the tacks.I used the tacks anyway with more of them at the top and upper sides of the screen where it would receive the most tension from constant pulling to go in and out of the screen. I tested it out a few times and it was very secure down to the bottom. The magnets worked great. There was no excess length for the 80" door. maybe a half inch at the bottom, which was fine.

The bug screen door functions very well as intended. It was difficult to find similar product with the door size that I need (being 8 feet high x 32 inches width) and in matching black color. Hope the adhesive will last for a while.
