I have a new mailbox whose door wouldn’t stay closed. I used friction tape around the edges, but the friction wore off after a few months. This mail nut magnet was super easy to install on my steel mailbox and I’m very pleased with it.

High priced for what it is. They send a velcro strip for magnet to stick inside mailbox. The velcro sticks well but dissapointed in the cheap quality of products used for the high price. It didn't really work with my metal mailbox because of how it's made. I'm having to rig it. Buy your own stick on magnets. It's a lot cheaper!

The clear, detailed instructions made it easy to install the magnet and catch plate. So far it works great.

Like the other reviewers mentioned I was hesitant because of the price but it was worth it! Easy installation, holding up nicely so far. Better than installing a new mailbox. Magnet is super strong so should last longer than the mailbox!

it is NOT a magnet!!!! it is velcro so not sure how that will hold up

My poor mail carrier had dealt with my box not staying closed for most of the year after the magnet went missing. I tried many things and finally stumbled across this. The price steered me away at first but honestly, don’t waste your money on anything else and get this first! Solved my issue and now I don’t have to replace my mailbox!
