These are good practice boards for being inexpensive. They hold the face paints well and come off easily. For darker colors that stain, I spray a little avocado oil spray & clean off with Dawn & water. Works like a charm.

I love these! As an Art Club sponsor these worked out really well when students were learning how to use cake paint and also working out proportions on new designs.I need to but a few more sets now so that they each have a practice board.Big perk---Cleans off easy with just a baby wipe.Kids were joking that they could also use the back for polymer clay ...they aren't wrong, you totally could.

These are great, easily wipeable, and make practicing face paint so much easier! It definitely goes on differently than it would on skin but allows for alot of practice!

"I don't recommend them; the paint runs I prefer using the folder dividers they sell at Walmart."

I am a professional facepainter and these boards are absolutely wonderful. They are easy to paint on and rinse right off. I use water based paints on them.

I bought these to help me practice facepainting designs. It takes time getting use to them. Your paint can not be too wet as the material is not "skin like" (which folks should be expecting that when ordering these or any other practice board). If your paint is too wet it will puddle and not stick to the plastic. If it's your first time using this and find it difficult to paint on flat surfaces I've learn from other facepainters you need to use Focal points you can do this by adding a dot to your focal points and do not worry about "keeping it in the lines" that took me time to understand, that my designs did not truly need to be perfectly on the face of the practice board. You are trying to learn the techniques of the design it just helps to have a "face" for position reference.. you can make adjustments when actively painting real people as not all designs look the same on each person. This product does stain depending on the color/brand paint you use. Soap and water cleans it easily. I've also learned that once a design comes out like you want it, you can scan and print the board with design using a printer once paint dries. I take my print outs and place them in a scrapbook for folks to flip through.
