I used this drill five days a week for over a month on a single charge I’d definitely recommend it to anyone especially if they use ryobi lol

so far they seem great, nice design , batterys a little heavy for the impact wish they had a smaller option like the 2.0 ah for the 18 volt series because I use the impact so much nice to have a smaller battery. the power is insane on both of these & still has the smooth makita feel I've grown to love

Powerful, high-tech and elegantly engineered. I have been a loyal Milwaukee customer for the past decade and a half, but after switching from their previous battery system to the current battery system, I noticed the build quality dropped and the chuck on the Milwaukee Fuel drill kept chewing into my drill bits. I would have to file them down in order to put them back in their register hole. After watching some breakdown videos on YouTube (BOLTR/AvE channel) I decided I’d had enough and switched to Makita. I love the impact but release feature that stays ready for a new but once you remove an existed bit so you can just push the new bit in without having to pull the collar out again. Very nice, elegant design with subtle but significant improvement in my experience using the tool. Also the drill chuck is world class. It doesn’t chew into bits and the drill seems to lock when you want to unchuck a bit so you can just twist the chuck with one simple twist to loosen the bit. No more chewing up my hands using the drill in reverse to unchuck a bit. The programmable tools settings are over the top! Those features make this drill tailorable to very specific jobs, which is completely irrelevant for the vast majority of users, but if you do any critical work with the drill (small tolerance assembly/diss assembly work or antique restoration, for example) or work in a nuclear power plant or on aircraft, this drill/driver kit is definitely for you. I also bought a smaller ‘purple’ Makita impact direct from Japan and I’m building up my Makita inventory. My next purchase will be a circular saw using the 40V battery line. Completely thrilled with these tools.
