Only time will tell if this model is as indestructible as the original Peterson Dewitt. But I can tell you one thing, they're so darn pretty you don't even wanna weld around em. So glad I'm able to purchase Dewitt USA steel again.

I've bought several "lock grip" pliers over the years and finally purchased these Malcos when they were on sale. I love buying USA built tools when I can find them and the price was definitely right on these. When I got them I was impressed with the level of fit and finish on the pliers. They work exactly as they should, and the finish makes you feel like you are using a premium tool. They have already earned their spot on my drill press.

I have the snapon version of these . these are the exact same set of clamps i’ve bought 4 pair … incredible construction and craftsmanship made in USA … priced accordingly but well worth it

I was going to buy another brand to supplement some of my 25 year old clamps. These were at a good enough price to give them a shot. I may wind up going to Harbor Freight instead of using these. The old Vise Grip version is the best I have used until these came around. These types of clamps are beater tools that are meant to used hard. I do not use tools like that anymore so I will not be messing the Malco ones up. They will be toolbox jewelry. They are literally too pretty for me to use.
