If you aren’t very mechanically inclined it’s very tough to get this to make a stitch :(Very sad.

Crude, cheap, and works. Arrived with all parts, zero defects and adjusted. You will have to remove dirty oil. It is best if the owner understands how sewing machines work and how to adjust them because this is not a machine for a beginner. The instruction book is nearly worthless. There does not seem to be a source of replacement parts other than bobbins and bobbin cases. If you are not an expert, photograph the machine's parts to capture its adjustments and threading. For example, the needle thread goes down a slot in the needle bar and the walking foot adjustment screw is rather coarse; if you change it, resetting it to work could be a challenge without having recorded its original position. I suggest reading The Sewing Machine Master Guide: From Basic to Expert by Clifford L Blodget if you are not expert at adjusting sewing machines. The purpose of a patch machine is to sew patches in a way that other machines cannot. It has a walking foot and no dogs and the foot rotates around the needle so one can sew in any direction without moving the work. Say you want to patch a hole in a tube such as a sleeve or boot leg, You push the leather or fabric over the cylinder arm, sew across one side of the patch, rotate the sewing machine's foot, sew the next side and so on. The point is that the walking foot rotates around the needle bar. This is something that a cylinder arm or free arm machine cannot do. Although some people use these machines to sew leather holsters and sheaths it would not be my first choice for that work because the bobbin is too small to use with heavy thread (have to reload too often). If you want to patch a hole in a tight place, it works. The serrations on the foot are sharp and grab well but will damage some leathers and fabrics.

Once you tune and file some sharp edges that break string it works smooth, like a champ.

This machine will need some fine tuning, some sharp edges knocked down, components need polishing and you will need to build a stand. If you have time to tinker to get this set up then it's a diamond in the rough, if you want something that works perfect right out of the box, then you will be disappointed. The stand is a joke, I threw mine away and built a tabletop stand out of some scrap wood. Watch some youtube videos and join the Facebook group for info. Once it's set up right it has been wonderful

Was a lot of work to figure out how to get it to work!!! You better be good at assembly and adjustments or you might want to think about an easier to assemble and use product!!!

It came out of the box ready to use with just a little bit of assembly which wasn’t even bad. I didn’t even need the instructions. I sewed on a side rocker and a patch on my leather motorcycle vest and this thing had zero issues. I’ve been wanting to buy this for years and glad I finally did. Well worth it.

I ordered this same machine from 2 other sellers and had to send both back because they were either b-stock or someone else’s return. It seems that all of these come with a partially sewn piece of leather stuck under the foot and thread already threaded through the machine. The other ones both showed up partially painted with a bunch of pitted steel but this one is full painted, solid and with more accessories than the other ones. If you’re a tinkerer, getting this thing going isn’t too hard, I had it stitching stuff in like 5 min. The biggest benefit of this machine for me is that it can stitch through foam sheets whereas my regular sewing machine cannot.

This machine arrive beat up and absolutely filthy. Grease and rust all over. You would never know it's supposed to be lime green. Several of the components are bent. One of them has the end strait up broken off. This item was made on a Friday for sure. The "instructions" are minimal to say the least. It is not a stable platform to work with, and I might be an idiot but I can't seem to get it working. It's not worth tye effort to try and get this thing functional. Sending it back.

After doing a lot of research, I wasn’t expecting a high quality product, however I was presently surprised when I unpacked it. The quality is much better than I was ready for. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a high quality product and a lot of work still needs to be done to get it running smoothly, however not nearly as much work as I was expecting to have to do. Can only hope, the quality continues in this direction. It will certainly do the jobs asked of it.

I was really hoping as plain and "no frills" as this thing was, that I would at least be able to use it. It came with a few instructions on how to assemble ~ after getting it assembled, it seemed sturdy enough. The machine was COVERED in dark grease and what looked like dirt (assuming this was from oiling the product) The grease had seeped into the Styrofoam that the machine came in. The 3 legs that it comes with are sturdy enough to hold the machine up, but if you bump it or move the turning wheel to hard it tips over. I had to go on YouTube to figure out how to thread the machine. The bobbin loader was bent and ruined so I had to load the bobbin by hand. After 3 hours of trouble shooting and someone else trying to figure it out, we can't get the top thread to stop breaking. I would think for the $100 I paid, I could've at least sewn one thing, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
