This is a great stand, no doubt about it. I'm currently using it as a high tom stand and the spikes on the feet along with the ball bearing make this stand perfect for a snare or tom mount. The ONLY reason why I'm not using it as my snare stand is because I use a deep snare so the stand on it's lowest setting wasn't quite low enough for me, when i started using it for my tom I was just as happy with the convenience and quality of it.

Real heavy and the ball pivot stays in place perfectly, which was my only worry before purchasing. I couldn't see a stand being better than this one.

Nice well built stand but it did require a lttle 'cutting down' to stop my 12" SD sitting too high.

I have the Falcon snare drum stand and love it. The stepless lever tilter is fantastic (Very similar to the one on my DW 9002 snare stand) and the ball in socket style tilter is so much better than other snare stands. If you are like me and have a drum mat, the pop down floor spikes are also a great addition to ensure the stand stays extra still. Highly recommended.
