Hands down the best backpack I’ve ever travelled with. I’m rarely inclined to leave product reviews. This backpack is ergonomic, high quality, solid as a brick, and perfect for travel. Zippers, buckles and stitching are all very good. Highly highly recommend.

I wanted to buy like a $400 ruck for going to JRTC. My wife said no sir! And bought me the 60L coyote ruck. I told her that if I break it, I’m buying the $400 one that I want. I used and abused this bag now for several years. Picked it up, fully loaded, by the carrying handle and thrown it around. Carried it by straps, seams, and buckles. Whipped it on and off trucks. Been through the rainy days and the sunny days. The hot days and the cold days. This pack has held up to everything I could throw it. Everyone I’ve had try it on loves the comfort as much as I do. Several people in my unit have bought their own now. Whenever I get someone new, I tell them that when they are tired of carrying uncomfortable and useless issued gear, to purchase this bag.All in all, I’m pleased with the durability and comfort of this ruck.

Bought this for a 3-day backpacking trip I was taking with my son. It worked fine for the trip, and he didn't complain. so, in that sense, this was a great value, but I think a bags at a higher price point are likely a higher quality, this one works fine for the occasional trip.It was roomy enough for 3-days worth of clothing etc. Seems fairly durable (more-so than some more expensive-but lighter-bags)We did not use the MOLLE loops. While they're nice-to-have in case you want to hook a carabiner on, you generally don't want things swinging around while backpacking, and it's best to keep the weight closer to your body and not hanging off the back of the bag.Even still, I think this was worth what we paid for it, and got us through the trip!

I purchased this for a fall camping trip. The bag is worth the money overall and is of pretty good quality. For some reason, mine was missing the rain cover.I did a pre-pack and realized the 60L is less spacious than you would think. I am going from a 50L Big Agnes Prospector (Graet Bag just too small for fall trips.) So I bought this bag and figured being able to attach stuff from the outside would help free up space.I found that not to be the case. The top also does not close well when the bag is packed full.I recommend buying the 75L version of this bag. I purchased that size for my brother, and it meets 95% of your needs and fits the bulkier items well. Not to mention, the rain cover on that bag had its own storage pouch. This bag would be fine for summer and early fall trips in warm climates, but this isn't the bag for you if you live in a cold climate and need to pack to stay out more than a single night.I did return this bag and purchased the Mardingtop 75L.

For an inexpensive pack this met and exceeded my expectations. The fit is ergonomical and comfortable easy to use rides well on your back and there's plenty of compartments and other room for all your camping essentials the tie down on the bottom for a tent and a sleeping bag is a really nice touch plus the added rain fly makes things even a little better.

Marine Corps infantry vet review. My usage:I’ve been using this pack for nearly one year strictly for exercise. My pack is loaded with about 90 pounds. The workouts have been short, 1 - 3 mile ruck runs.Good:This pack has held up well to the weight without tearing or showing signs of stress. The main body of the pack is outstanding with plenty of room for essentials, the side pouches are big enough for hydration bladders or other gear you must quickly access, and the head pouch large enough for essentials. Despite its relatively large size, the pack does not ride too high and does not prevent me from lifting or moving my head in any direction (I’m 6’2”, though, and this may differ for shorter individuals). Overall this is a very nice budget ruck.Bad:Given the heavy load (again, roughly 90 lbs) and the jostling from running, the pack is missing a few key components and performance standards that keep it from being my ideal pack. First, the hip belt lacks much padding, which under this load and movement can create discomfort. Fortunately, since my movements do not last over 3 miles, this is limited, however, I have experienced chaffing which would be extremely problematic if on an extended patrol or trip. Second, all of the cinches on the pack are not a high quality and the combination of the weight and movement loosens them throughout my movement. This creates a load that, over time, moves around a lot if I do not retighten the straps. Theoretically this could be avoided by replacing the existing low performance hardware with higher performance cinches/tighteners. This would probably be a relatively low cost solution.Unknowns:Water resistance, dry time, comfort over long distances (I imagine it’s fine with light to moderate loads), zipper quality over time, extended field use, ease of cleaning/maintenance.Recommendation:If you’re looking for a budget ruck that can handle moderate loads and distances, this may be a good choice. As I use the ruck, it is decent, although not recommended. As an exercise ruck if your goal is heavy load, over long distances, under a time constraint this is not the pack for you. The constant need to adjust the straps will slow you down, and the jostling of the loose pack will increase your risk of injury. For a weekend pack to cover 10-20 miles with 50 or less pounds, this is probably ok. Beyond that I would want something more substantial and secure, especially if I am deep in the backcountry.
