I use these anchors in the 15 pound weight for anchoring jet skis in shallow water near shore. They hold pretty good in windy conditions and it is not too heavy to carry around if you need to.

Good weight, designed for use in rivers, pretty much ideal for my 17' bass boat (aluminum). Could have bought a little cheaper at WalMart but like the convenience of Amazon.

Good value, and for lake use on a 15' Boston Whaler, this anchor works great. The shape of the anchor and the coating allow easy rinse off of mud before bringing on board, and the size of the anchor is perfect for the anchor locker. The coating keeps the boat from getting banged up. All in all, it's a great anchor and a great price for a boat this size.

We purchased two anchors for our new boat. They are exactly what we wanted and should work great!

We bought this rubber coated anchor to use in the front of the boat to anchor against boat swing when at anchor. It actually is just like the boat anchor that came with the boat and it does exactly what we needed. The boat stays put and you don't get tangled up in each others line unless a fish does it.

This is a great hybrid between the bowl type anchor and the type with the hooks. As you can tell by my terminology I’m no nautical expert by any means. I’ve used it plenty in shallow lakes with rocks, trees, branches, and other assorted junk at the bottom and it hasn’t gotten stuck, yet always keeps me in place. My only regret is I should have gotten a smaller one. I’m using it for a one man 12’ kayak for which it is definitely overkill. Expect the coating to come off easily. It’s just cheap tool dip, but that really doesn’t matter at all. It can be redipped as easily as it can peel off.
