Was easy to install as the bolt fits the hole in the trailer. Slides it well and hold the motor. Only issues is I wish it had a couple of tabs on the holder so that it wouldn't turn when putting pressure on it when lowering the motor onto it.

This transom saver is built solid but I thought it would prevent the motor from going on its side while driving and it doesn't. I guess its only good for hydraulic steering systems.

This unit is great as unlike other models tat you need to align holes, which is difficult when under your engine so low to the ground, this one just twists in and out. Brilliant, worth the extra money over cheaper ones

I had some doubts about quality but definitely worth every penny if you have a nice engine and boat to protect.I ordered the frame mount because I saw that I could fit the end on the roller frame mount without having to drill or alter anything.. it was a breeze to install and is super sturdy. Total assembly time about 15 min. Very pleased with purchase. Pics added.

How nice to pull the components from their shipping box and be immediately impressed by their sturdiness and appearance. Assembly was easy, and I'm someone with very little mechanical skill. It's a secure, fun experience to take my rig to/from my waters knowing that transom and motor are so well protected. An excellent product!

I bought this as a replacement for the exact same model. The only thing wrong was the bungee cord was too long. I had to tie a knot in it to shorten it.

Got this hoping for it to at least make the trip from Va. To the Florida keys and back. Nope not even close, Less than 300 miles it broke. The material is of low quality and being adjustable is nice but makes it that much weaker. I had this on a 21 ft Carolina skiff with a Suzuki 140. The transom saver was mounted correctly and not overloaded. Please don't waste you time or money on this item, truly a sub par product.
