The resistor I got from the auto parts store locally melted in two days the plug in was literally melted to the the resistor. Got this kit and problem fixed and work like the day I bought it 20 on years ago.

If you bought one of the other resistors (like I did--twice) and the holes don't line up, this is the one you need.

the reason they give you the new harness with the pigtails is because your old one will be burnt up and you will need it. They even give you good quality butt-connectors with heat shrink. This is surprisingly good.A+
