  • The boards don't warp with moisture. One thing to consider is making sure to prepare the surface (scratch it up a little (not much)) so that the surface can absorb the glues you'll be using for your decoupage product. Have fun!

  • It's blank, like a blank cardboard. The canvas material wraps around the edges and then the back is blank. On the back you can write the date of your painting and your signature.

  • yes with a sturdy frame they can be. You should be able to put these in a frame pretty easily. I haven’t framed any yet, but I plan to when I paint one that’s good enough to frame.

  • It is recommended to use double-sided tape, such as removable tape or nano tape. A tabletop easel or hot glue some ribbon to the back to make a hanger for an over-the-door hanger or a command strip. Or frame and hang.

The 10 Pack, Multi-Sized MaxGear Canvas Boards for Painting are perfect the beginning artist. It's a good variety of sizes, from very small (4"x4") to quite large (11"x14"). I especially appreciate that the boards are already triple primed with Esso so they are ready to use. I'll be using them for acrylic paint pouring.

As an amateur painter this was perfect! Canvas was stretched tight enough to make painting easy. Even did a small acrylic pour with one. Great value and quality.
