As a career fabricator and metal sculptor, this set has proven very useful and valuable. When grinding metal, clamping things to a table is nice. This set is especially nice because the 90 degree pliers and the open jaw pliers allow me to clamp things down in a way that the profile of the plier is below the path of all the grindings, and I get far less ricochet. With normal clamping pliers, the pliers themselves can create a surface where a bunch of the hot sparks bounce back at me… and over time, i get tired of bathing in sharp itchy metal dust.I’ve bought 2 of these sets, mostly for the 90 degree pliers— (which are not very good for bolt unscrewing, since the offset makes the jaws hard to lineup under pressure— but it’s the same with the 80 dollar German brand— so don’t buy 90 degree needle nose pliers expecting them to perform miracles or take tight bolts off or anything) (luckily this set has the straight needle nose too, and those line up and can clamp onto a bolt head if needed)—But the open jaw pliers have become a “go to” for irregular shapes and things that need a powerful clamp.In short- I really like this set for reasons expected, and reasons unexpected. 5 stars for sure!!Folks who are upset with the lineup of the jaws on the 90 degree pliers? I think they had unrealistic hopes for that kind of clamp.JD Metal Sculptor

Good price. Decent quality.I would have preferred if they the adjusting screw but haven't had any issue.I like the 90 degree offset and the long curved jaw one works well and is nicely designed.I would consider buying another set in the future.

Very nice set, a little thicker/bigger then expected (needed more ofva thinner width almost to thick to get in smaller areas ) they are heavy. They actually come in a box not in the package shown in the picture and they are in a nice wrap case with velcro straps

Honestly, I bought this set only to get the one right-angle vice grip which I used to make the best woodstove ash sifter I've ever had or seen. (See pic.)The little cloth case that came with the vice grip set is nice, and I replaced the right-angle vice grip with a smaller standard vice grip I already had. These grips are sturdy enough for cheap imported stuff. If I ever need something really nice I'll buy a top-quality one.
