i have ordered 2 part different gaz cap part # for Briggs &stratton lawn mover..different price one a 13.30 and one at 5.75 , same size ...they don,t fit ..a bit too small..they were recommended by your site

I have a near 20 year old Briggs and Stratton and the original gas cap started letting out gas fumes. The solution at the time was to take a plastic bag and a rubber band and cover the cap. That got silly and I spent so much time trying to find a new one to fit. My wife bought several that didn't fit and I checked Amazon and found this one. Ordered it and it fit and no more plastic bag and rubber band. I know some said they disliked the product but it works for older mowers. Works for me.

This is a very small gas cap. I learned that too late and also learned that it cannot be returned to Amazon.ca due to it being sold by a 3rd-party seller. Well that sucks!

I have to put a rag on the fuel tank opening just so this cap still stay on. Probably needs to be a mm smaller on the inside diameter. I'm using it anyway because it still works and I don't feel like returning it. Hopefully my old cap will show up somewhere....

Fits fine but cardboard insert falls out of the cap every time you take it off to fuel up
