Works great. I had to order the dedicated Ethernet cable because a regular cat6 Ethernet cable end was to long to to fit inside the max air fan housing.

I was very happy with the way these controllers fit into the existing wall bracket for the old mylar overlay style controller. These controllers will click into place into the existing wall bracket making installation simple. They work perfectly, and are much better than the original controller.

I wanted a wall mounted control for our new Maxxair Maxxfan 7500K deluxe and this worked awesome. Does almost everything the wireless remote does, however there is no temp display or thermostat functionallity on this wall control. We still have to use our wireless remote for those features. We never use the thermostat fumctions so for us no big deal. I did not buy the overpriced Maxxair network cable to connect this switch to the new fan. I have the tools and just made my own ethernet cable. It works great and I highly reccommend this switch to anyone else who has found out the range for the wireless remote included with the 7500K is terrible like we did. This works every time no matter what and is powered through the network cable by the fan itself. Bonus !! No batteries to go dead and need replaced.
