I recommend this to anyone who has a dog that they have to muzzle for any reason i do not like the muzzles that force the dogs mouth shut. This shows them to fully open their mouth but protects them from nipping or biting. Highly recommend

The silicon basket is a good idea but the straps are made of weak plastic and don’t hold the muzzle on. My dog took it off and chewed the straps off and chewed a hole in the muzzle basket.

Very difficult to soften up. Dug into dog's face. She wouldn't tolerate it.

It looks like it is made of a hard plastic texture. I see that it can hurt any dog, but it can be used in an emergency, not to have it all day .

Tried many different ones and this one was the most comfortable for my dog, she could open her mouth fully and it wasn't as tight, only downside was if she pushed her face on something the holes didn't line up with her nostrils so she would block her airway, she could still open her mouth but didn't like the placement of the holes.

Update: (2/8/25) the seller messaged me and said the fault was due to improper sizing and not proper training my pup to the muzzle. They said the large hole was a treat hole. They then said they’d send me a different one based on her measurements that she wouldn’t be able to eat stuff out of.1st the new muzzle lacked the so called treat hole, but she was STILL able to get stuff through the holes they have in the muzzle. 2nd it’s VERY flimsy and she easily squished her face to the end of it to nip through the holes. 3rd the straps are weak and easily broken and chewed. 4th within 5 minutes she had it off and began chewing on it as if it were a toy.I had already ordered a Birdwell muzzle with a scavenger guard and decided to try that one on her after the 2nd muzzle from this company failed. She was unable to remove it, she couldn’t bite through the guard, and she couldn’t get anything off the ground. So I’m sticking with Birdwell. I’ve added a pic of the Birdwell to my review.I got this muzzle on 12/18 and as of today, 2/6 it’s in the trash.I correctly sized measured my girl & bought the correct size but nothing I did kept this muzzle on. I added extra anchor clips, affixed it to her collar, and even attached extra straps, but nope. Nothing worked. She got it off while outside and shredded it.In addition it has a large hole right below the nose that leaves dogs STILL able to bite. I witnessed my dog carrying sticks, eating stuff off the ground, and still biting her sister through that larger hole. It’s a crap muzzle and I can’t believe I wasted money on it.

First let me add that this product is to be trained into your dogs routine. You cannot purchase a muzzle and slap it onto your dog, you need to spend days conditioning them to the muzzle. Then you must make sure you take things nice and slow with your dog before throwing it on them.Let me also say that this muzzle fits my dog decently well! I had originally plan to get a custome made muzzle but since thatll take a little to come in i got this one for training. It fits her decently well, shes a 51 lb gsd/belgian mal mix.
