While all parts wear out over time, this part went bad 3 days after the switch I just replaced.I didn’t even go to the places I did for the switch, I look on Amazon and it had this part at a good price. It’s been working great and I’d buy again should it go bad.

I’ve got a 100% charged, good battery 12.97vFull battery voltage going to the solenoid, full voltage being sent to the solenoid when I turn the key and a good ground and the solenoid won’t send power to the other side to the brand new starter…. The solenoid was bad right out of the box. I’ve been a certified mechanic for 20 years, I have checked it out thoroughly- the solenoid is bad.

It works as it should but the mounting holes on this solenoid did not match the holes on the Snapper mower where the original solenoid was mounted. I had to drill new holes to mount it. Not a big deal, but be aware it may not just bolt up where your old solenoid is mounted.
