These easy-to-use wheel locks function like regular lug bolts, but require a special key tool for installation and removal. The steel collar on the user friendly key guides the key into the lock pattern. The collar holds the key in alignment for easy installation and removal. The computer generated key designs allow for an infinite number of key patterns. The extra narrow pattern groove on the lock resists the intrusion of removal tools into the pattern. Every McGard wheel lock utilizes fully machined, restricted chemistry steel made specifically for McGard and through-hardened for its unsurpassed level of security. McGards plating process includes three layers of nickel and one layer of microporous chrome/black producing a superior finish while protecting against rust. The bolt stem has a dacromet coating to meet O.E.M. standards. For use with steel or aluminum wheels with a tapered seat. This product may contain globally sourced materials/components.

These appear to be high quality and worked perfectly for aftermarket wheels on an F82 M4. having a black top makes them match the other lug nuts perfectly.

Fits perfectly on my Brand New 2023 Mini Cooper SE that I just recently purchased. Been waiting for 2 months for my Mini to be built and arrive to CA from the UK.Amazon says doesn't fit but per. McGuard website this does fit. Based on McGuards part number.Per. Official 2023 Mini Cooper SE Manual.Torque specification is...101 Foot Pounds / 140 NMNEVER use a Power Impact Gun when installing or removing with the key lock. It can strip away the key.Also the key is the last bolt to be installed and 1st to be removed.

Love these wheel locks! More important, though: I trust them. Should be standard equipment on all new cars in my opinion, but since they aren’t, they are worth the cost for the peace of mind they provide.

Two of the four nuts didn’t thread properly. Tested the others and they worked just fine. Was too late to return. Total disaster.
