i ordered 6 of these drives on a whim to expand a storage array of mine, these are the cheapest drives i found on Amazon at the time (at $20 each) and had zero reviewsi ran SMART tests on all 6 drives (smartctl -t short -d scsi /dev/sd...), they all passed and report the following details:- all drives report their manufacturer date as being in 2024- all drives have power on time of under 10 hours (some had zero minutes)- about 3 of the drives report total errors corrected in the 40-70k range- all drives report 0 total uncorrected errors- one drive is 153gb larger than the others (differing sector count and size than the others)these seem like brand new drives, awesome!each drive also comes with a warranty card (not sure how useful that is) - they are fulfilled by Amazon anywaysthe boxes they came in had stickers labeling them as SATA drives, they are indeed SAS drives, not SATAstress testing them now in their own dedicated ZFS pool, so far zero write errors at about 46% full. based on the SMART data from them, im not expecting any issues.pretty sweet!will update this review if anything changes

Failed right out of the box! My server detected it was failed and I’ve had it for less than a minute of owning it!. I couldn’t recommend this any less!UPDATE:The drive seems fine so far. It was apparently my old raid controller my server came with PERC 6/I just plain sucked. I got a lsi 9211-8i here on Amazon and now my server is no longer throwing failed hard drive errors. I definitely AM getting another one of these now!
