Hinge was weak, does not maintain the angle, which is the primary purpose of this tool.

I was so dissapointed in these calipers. They are so loose that it is very difficult to keep the on the lines. I thought the screw at the top wouuld tighten them, but it does not. I really want some calipers tight enough to stay in place when measuring. Sorry MDpocket !
