Like the looks and color of this boot. Initially the boot was comfortable but — the bottom of the cushioning inslde of boot has lost some of its support. Need to wear this for several more months…was hoping it would continue to be comfortable.

I broke my fibula and tibula (shin and ankle) and I’ve bought the black boots sold on amazon. They were too heavy and uncomfortable and they didn’t offer enough stability for my injuries because there was no shin plate.. My orthopedic surgeon offered a boot at a $600 cost exactly the same but I declined and found the exact same one here for this amazing cost! Aside from the cost the boot is the nicest offered on Amazon! It’s so liberating! It’s so incredibly comfortable and the front shin plate is removable if you desire, the pump works great and lm seriously loving it. The size chart is correct plus it’s a nice color with the cool blue accents. . This is by far the best boot on Amazon! Worth the cost and I just can’t recommend it enough. I can’t understand any of the bad reviews. Just follow the size chart and you will be so happy once you get it. Yes there is a slight learning curve to get it just right but once you do you’re good to go. Just take some time to get the fasteners the right tension as well as the pump. Make sure it’s fully deflated before putting it on and don’t over inflate just one pump at a time because you don’t want it too tight. Always trust me when I say it’s the best boot on Amazon!

My daughter used this air boot for a serious ankle sprain for a couple of weeks. It looks great and fit her well, however the air function was lost when the ball bearing fell out that keeps the air in. She needed to continue wearing the boot but without the air support it was much less comfortable and effective. It seems defective for the primary functionality to be so easily lost by one tiny little part to pop out so easily.

I bought this boot for my brother. He had crushed his heal. The boot does not hold air. It does not support his ankle as it should.

I ordered this one because it was lighter in weight than the one my surgeon gave me. Was less expensive than others I looked at but the quality is good. An added bonus is because it’s mostly plastic on the outside no pet hair is sticking too it which was a problem with the plain mostly cloth black one you usually get at the hospital. ( I am unable to get around and sweep for a few weeks so this became a real big problem with my pets) It’s easy to clean and wipe off with a damp sponge. I also like that because it’s molded plastic ALL the way around, I can elevate my foot in it on any surface without it hurting the back of my leg. I had surgery on my ankle and Achilles tendon, in my other boot my calf wasn’t covered with a hard surface so it hurt the back of my calf if I rested it on anything.Def better and cheaper than the standard issued ones
