I purchased these boots for a Victorian Costume, and when they arrived, I was amazed. Great look, the smell of leather.....perfection.I ordered the wide calf, and unfortunately my calves were just a bit too big.However, if your calves are on the large size, or you have smaller ones, please do not hesitate to buy these boots.I am so bummed they did not fit me.

Received my riding boots two days early. They were beyond what I expected for the price paid. The leather was defect free on both boots on both the shoe part and the shaft, which is very rare. These boots definitely rival my Ariats which cost me over $600. Very hard to find a boot with my calf size without buying custom made. The shoe part was a good thick leather that provides protection when around horses but yet supple enough to be very comfortable. The shaft was nice and stiff. Perfect for the leg position a Dressage rider wants. Have already worn these boots over 8hrs. Very comfortable. Stitching is excellent. Zipper is heavy duty and a good function. The only concern is they don't stitch the sole on, they just glue it. Don't think it's an issue because of having a zipper to easily take boots off. If a boot jack was required to take boots off then I think the sole would not last very long. Beautiful looking boots. Plan on buying another pair.

I ordered 10.5 and my feet rattle around inside ... they must be 11.5 or 12. They look like they would be great and I am sad that they didn't fit.Update 4/7/21 Just got my refund and there is a $32 restocking fee as a penalty for guessing your size incorrectly!!

The quality is very nice but the size is huge, I recommend more measurements to be requested by the manufacturer in order to get a perfect size.

I had been eyeing these for quite some time after having a similar pair in brown that I simply love wearing outside the riding arena. I used to have a pair of black dressage boots that I had made for me in Shanghai many years ago, but ran their course. As soon as I opened the package I knew these Hispar were perfect. They also arrived ahead of estimated schedule and the rest is and will be history. :)

Well constructed boot. After 20+ hours of use, the boots have broken in well. Only issue I found is sizing. Boots run large in size while the calf seems pretty accurate. I typically wear a size 13 and found the 11 a bit large. I used an insole on the size 11 and now the boot fits fine. Consider an insole as the foot bed is relatively flat.
