This is a very well-made jacket. It also fits pretty well without tailoring. Depending on your build, it may need some alterations. For example, I may get the mid section taken in a bit. Still, I could wear it as is, and it wouldn't look bad. I just prefer a more slim fit. I really like the internal fabric and design. It feels like silk and has a cool pattern of a world map that repeats throughout the inside of the jacket. It's pretty cool and stylish if you ask me. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish of this jacket. It will definitely be staying in my wardrobe for the long term.

This Alton Lane suit jacket is an incredible addition to my wardrobe. It’s very well-made and fits wonderfully right off the rack, although depending on your body type, some small adjustments might be necessary. The attention to detail is outstanding, especially with the luxurious inner fabric, which feels as smooth as silk. The world map pattern on the inner lining is a stylish and distinctive touch that gives the jacket extra character. It's perfect for elevating casual outfits or wearing them to more formal occasions. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the fit, style, and quality, and I can see this jacket becoming a long-standing essential in my wardrobe!

I ordered this suit jacket (sports coat) for my husband; but, decided our son would use more. This is a very good quality and well made suit piece. We especially liked the Navy color and fit. He recently wore to a funeral and he said it felt very comfortable. Overall, very good buy.

The only suit jacket I've ever had was either from goodwill or my dad. I measured myself at about 41", but figured I'd want a little extra room so I went with a 44. It fit's exactly as I was hoping. It's a little loose/big possibly, but I might be wearing this with a few layers? Or maybe in winter when I have my winter weight on, hahaha. My girlfriend said it looked really good on me! This will be great for anything from interviews to weddings! It's definitely the fanciest piece of clothing I have now! I love the silky inside with so many pockets! There's what must be a cigar pocket (super thin and long), a phone pocket, and 2 or 3 general purpose pockets.

This is a very stylish jacket even down to the liner of it. looks like it could have been something bespoke. The fit is nice and could be custom. Beautiful color and look. truly is a classic fit and great style. Stiching is done well and there has been clear attention to detail here.

Got this for my son. We went to this suit place in the mall and tried a bunch of suits on to see which fit him best before ordering. I know different suit brands will fit different but this gave us a good idea on this one. Didn’t want get something that didn’t fit at all.I’m glad to report that this Mercantile Jacket fit him well. We went up 1 size just to make sure. I’m not expert on suits but this Alton looks and feels like a quality jacket. I’m sure more expensive ones will have better quality but for the price of this one you can’t go wrong. My son has got his money worth with this. I have ordered him the buttons to match this.
