I love the ease of this tool. Works great, good quality and the battery holds a good charge. The only complaint is the weight, but you expect that with the cordless. Would buy again!

I have a number of high end air compressor tools. I needed this framing nailer because I was building a timber frame carport, which required me, at age 79, to "lift" a nailer over my head. My compressor tool --a high end and very good tool -- was to heavy for me, but I was able to use the cordless metabo to do the job. The only "concern" I have is something that was not the fault of Metabo. . I let my son use the tool; he got the "21 degree" nails confused and put them in "backwards." This caused a serious jam. I thought the tool damaged reyond repair. We had to take it apart--not difficult to do -- and clear the five jammed nails. When we reassmbled, it worked perfectly. This impressed me.

I know this nail gun is a great tool. I’ve used it many times. So I ordered one. First one would not fire. They sent another. Same problem. Was it me NO. I went to Lowes and got one. Perfect nailing out of the box. Beware of refurbished crap.

A little on the heavy side. It is quick and easy and battery life is good. It is well made and easy to adjust from single nail to multiple nailed. Noise level is tolerable.

Repairing a wooden fence it cut the repair time by about 2/3 . Did a full 10' section in about 60 min. 132 nails in all 24 pickets. No jams. Easy.

Bought this and a makita to metabo battery adapter. Handles 16 penny, 8s and ringshanks just fine. Battery lasts long (I’m using the makita 5.0 batteries) marginally slower trigger response than an pneumatic. It’s marginal. Could for careful nailing like siding, not the best for production framing. But it’s nice to not have to set up a compressor, hoses etc. very time efficient. Time is money! Worth it in my opinion for small jobs, decks or places where cords are not practical like roofs, trusses rafters etc. the only negative thing I have to say is it has an on button you have to press for like 1.5 seconds and it’s on a timer so it will shut off after a while. It’s annoying when you’re holding heavy material and need another hand to press the on button which is far away from the trigger.

Had to return item, went and purchased a new one locally mid project.. Frequent nail jams and not enough power to fully drive the nails Had to go back over with a hammer at each section. It kinda defeats the purpose of a nail gun. Also very heavy and awkward. At the end of an hour my arm was sore and numb. Mind you, I do this for a living, swinging a hammer 10-12 hour days and I have never been that sore. The boss had a craftsman framing gun and it was smooth, lightweight.. thought Id invest in one but couldn't find the same model anywhere. Thought I would give this one a try. Bad investment, thank goodness for Amazons amazing return policy. Save your money, dont buy this one.
