Well built and feels solid. I have dropped it maybe once or twice without having to readjust the configuration. Depth lock works well. Disassembly is pretty simple as is bit swap.Speed control accessibility is nice too. Well placed so you use your thumb to adjust on-the-fly.

Have used this for a couple of months for different jobs. Product is easy to work with and has plenty of power for large 1/2 shaft bits. Would recommend it.

Much more power than my old craftsman router. Adjustable speed is a nice feature. Bit removal is easy if you back the nut off until it pulls the tapered jaws.

Purchased "used" like new from Amazon and had to return it. Far from "Like new". Reordered new and it is truly an excellent machine. Soft start and very controllable, flawless results using average cutters and again, the router works like a fine tuned machine. Don't hesitate and to add, I have several Hitachi / Metabo tools and all work well.

Excelente router para trabajos ligeros y medianos, muy silencioso. De una construcción sólida de buenos materiales y ensambles perfecto.Lo único que se calienta para trabajos constantes o pesados. Y pueden mejorar el precio pues de fábrica son económicos.

The power and quality of this router are excellent. The value is PHENOMENAL! The only downside is that the depth adjustment is a bit loose and sloppy for very fine adjustments but definitely workable. This is a great choice for a bench top router table. I love my setup with this router!

Took the router motor off the case and attached it to my Kreg router table system. It has plenty of power for making any decorative cut including raise panel bits. Use both the 1/4" and the 1/2" collets on a regular basis. The variable speed feature is good and have found setting #3 to work with any size bit I use. This speed makes for a smooth finish and no tear-outs, gouges, etc. Have owned this router nearly two years and use it a lot.

I don’t understand why Metabo is not popular! But with the spec and price, and even 5 years warranty! I will never go wrong!Already had it for several trial run with different bits. It’s more powerful and much heavier than I thought. It means quality for me!Adjustment and operate is easy, so far I am happy with it!

Stepped up to this router from a trim router due to deflection in the spindle.All the difference in the world in power, handling operation, noise levels, and accuracy.The variable speed comes in handier than originally anticipated and depth adjustment is simple and very accurate.No 3/8' collet is included being the only downside.For reference, the base is a 3 hole bolt pattern.
