This is only good for use on the old Minelab 800, not the newer version. I bought this thinking it would help to strengthen the coil connectors, after i received it i found it did not fit and tried to return it for a refund. The seller only let mt know that i did not need it but gave no way to return it. I've tried contacting the seller again as well as Amazon to resolve this to no avail from ither side. My recommendation is to find another seller for this product !

Very disappointed though they did give me a refund. It does not fit the equinox 800 detector at least the coil that came with it.

The coil ears are kinda weak and put this on gives you a little more confidence I would want to be out detecting and break a coil ear and your whole day is shot

Bright red, strong printed material. Should go along way to protecting the Minelab Equinox coil ears.

Not a very good print (3d print) and the 800 is on backwards, its also not bright red as shown, more of a burgundy.

Good product, but I zip tied it to my coil and notched my skid plate to allow the zip ties to clamp to the coil and for skid plate to be removed for cleaning .

Easy to install, easy enough that a cave man can do it. The area I metal detect is pretty rough and have been lucky that the ears haven't broken or cracked yet over the last few years. I wanted the extra support whether I'm swinging or when it's strapped to my backpack on a hike through heavy cover and steep grades to sites.
