It holds the radio well and was easy to install. But the adapter is way too big for the bezel to fit around it. So for now I have to drive like this. I am going to have to cut my dashboard to fit

Fits great, have to use the brackets from the factory radio and mount it on the kit with the screws they give you. Just becareful taking out the ac vent/clock trim. Ended up cracking mine.

Worked perfectly for my 2004 Nissan Xterra. Follow the directions carefully, and it'll work fine.Some of the tabs were too thick to 'cut', so I just bent them back and forth until they broke off- then I used some strong scissors to clean it up.Good luck! It's not as difficult as you may assume.

This works perfectly for my 2004 Nissan Frontier! Just followed the directions and showed witch pieces to use to attach to the main mounting plate and witch pieces to cut off before mounting into my dashboard! Very well engineered!

Because this unit can be used on a variety of models, READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST! You will have to cut the side pieces depending on the model car. If you cut the pieces wrong, you will not be able to use this unit. After installation, radio looked good, that is why I gave it a 3 star!

Bought it for Nissan X trail 05 with the catalogue on Metra.com and clearly there's an error on the application cause this car is not in the manuel. Be careful

Used a Metra kit in my '03 Silverado and was pleased with it. When I got a new '00 Pathfinder to use as a mud truck, I needed to install a new marine radio after the factory Bose unit died after getting hit with 3000psi of water when I was cleaning out the interior with the pressure washer. This kit is not only sturdy as hell, but instructions are clear and cutting it to fit is a breeze with a regular hacksaw blade.Would not hesitate to install another Metra kit in anything.

Product did the job for my 2003 nissan xterra. I must say though that the directions could be improved. There are hundreds of different configurations and it can be confusing with all the interchangeable parts and tabs which need to get broken off.

Works great in my 2000 Pathfinder. The instructions are very easy to follow and they even tell you how to get into the dashboard. There are video demos of that but even if all you had was this kit and the instructions sheet, you'd be fine.Good quality plastic, very good fit in the dash. The pocket has holes for running accessory wires or other things. There are no downsides to this kit.

As is noted, it's a one-size-fits-all mount kit. That means you'll feel guilty about throwing away more plastic as you keep. But the directions were surprisingly accurate, and this was the only one available for the year-model.The bezel doesn't fit on my 97 Mercury Villager (same as 97 Nissan Quest). I put the Clarion unit's plate over it, but just barely. To resolve a bit of the metal box showing, I put electrical tape over that edge and then put the plastic plate back on. Considering how difficult it would be to retro something to fit my vehicle, they did a good job. In this year-model, the plastic kit entirely replaces the metal radio box that is in the dash from factory.Not great, but functional. No real complaints on functionality.
