Just purchased a new home and every single outlet was two pronged. I replaced them all and buying large quantities this saved money. Every one of them works great and were simple to install.

I've been replacing all the "TV oval" receptacles in our home with rectangular ones, to give our new home a more "contemporary" look. These seemed like a decent price for a fairly standard device, so I ordered a box of 10, which will replace about half of the receptacles in the house. They're primarily for low-current devices, such as LED table lamps, not for heaters, washing machines, etc., so I don't expect problems. So far, all seem to work fine. One thing I REALLY like compared to the "L" brand ones is the ease of wiring. The original receptacle was practically a 3-hand operation to get the wires out - hold the receptacle, press a hole with a tiny screwdriver, wriggle the wire out. This is particularly troublesome if receptacles are "chained", with one feeding on to another, and even worse if one socket is wired as "switched" while the other is not. Once I wriggled the wires out of the previous receptacles they slid right into one of the 4 holes behind the screws, and the screws tightened to clamp the wires in place. The ground wire only have one hole, but it works the same way. This might seem slightly more complicated, but if I ever have to replace a receptacle, it's going to be SO much easier to deal with. The semi-gloss finish blends in with the paint finish, rather than being glossy, so that's a plus in my opinion. My only complaint is that I don't really need to see "TR" [Tamper Resistant] in raised letters on the front. Note: It's not that difficult to take out the TR feature (𝑏𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒 installation) if you have no kids and don't need it.

Most receptacles I have bought in the big box stores have the screws already in place and held there with a square tiny bracket so they don't fall out. These do not have that feature so it makes them more difficult to install.
