The photo shows that the cassette is black but it is actually chrome as it says in the description. I've taken a couple rides and it seems to shift perfectly.

I decided I wanted a slightly larger gearing range on my DH bike, a 2017 Trek Session 9.9 with Shimano Saint rear derailleur. The stock cassette was an Ultegra 11-25 tooth paired with a 36 tooth chainring which made even the most mild incline difficult. Just getting from the parking lot to the lift was exhausting. I've heard this brand come up in a number of biking podcasts I listen to. Looking at the weight, price, and positive reviews, I figured I'd give it a shot and couldn't be happier. I went with the 11-34 tooth option as I figured it'd give me the low gear I was looking for without pushing the limits of the derailleur. I can tell no difference in shifting performance compared to the Shimano cassette, and now have opened up additional terrain I'd normally avoid on my Session. One thing of note is that the photo shows a black cassette, the cassette is chrome plated as noted in the description. I hope microShift starts making 11 speed cassettes as I'd definitely consider them again for my trail and gravel bikes next time I'm looking for a replacement.

Misleading photo - this product/item is silver, not black as I had searched "black" - trusted my the pic and the Amazon search. Crazy slow to ship - and quite a bit heavier than anticipated.Disappointed in my purchase and needed this cassette for a ride that came up. Used it - so can't exchange for a refund.
