The GXT67 was super quality. Not only did it work well, you could tell it is durable. I wasn’t afraid to drop this in water or for it to hit the ground. I knew it would still work each time. The sound quality was also impressive and it’s so easy to use. It is one of my new must-packs whenever I head out to hit the trails. It brings me peace of mind knowing I can reach others when I’m off grid.

I recently picked up the Midland GXT67 PRO GMRS radio, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance, durability, and features. When using it for local repeaters, this radio delivers clear audio, solid range, and reliable functionality.Pros:✅ Repeater Capable – Extends the range significantly when used with a GMRS repeater. Great for off-road trips, hiking, and emergency comms.✅ IP67 Waterproof – This radio holds up well in rain, dust, and rough conditions, making it ideal for outdoor use.✅ Active Noise Canceling – Cuts down on background noise, ensuring clearer audio in noisy environments.✅ 99 Channels + Privacy Codes – Plenty of channel options to reduce interference and keep conversations private.✅ Hands-Free Operation (VOX) – Works well for hands-free use, which is great when hiking, driving, or working.✅ Solid Battery Life – The 16-hour battery life is excellent, and I appreciate the rechargeable battery pack.Cons:⚠️ Antenna is Fixed – Would be nice if it had a removable antenna for upgrades, but the stock one performs well.

I purchased the Midland GXT67 Pro GMRS Two-Way Radios for offroading, but they turned out to be more than just recreational tools. These radios proved their worth during Hurricane Helene, when communication was critical, and cell service became unreliable. The range on these radios is impressive—I was able to stay connected with family over several miles in challenging weather conditions. The clear audio quality and weather alerts provided timely updates that helped us make informed decisions during the storm. The waterproof design and durable construction gave me confidence that these radios could handle anything nature threw at them.Battery life was another standout feature. Even with frequent use, they lasted long enough to keep us connected when it mattered most.If you’re looking for a dependable communication tool for emergencies or outdoor adventures, I highly recommend the Midland GXT67 Pro. These radios aren’t just a product—they’re peace of mind when you need it most.Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Love this new Midland radio! It reaches far away repeaters with ease and has decent quality audio. Also is reasonably straightforward to set up (unlike many others). My main beef is the fixed antenna as other new FCC approved GMRS radios have removable antennas. I'd love to use this in the car as a mobile, but that darned fixed antenna spoils that plan. Also, the non-removable battery & lack of a USB-C jack for on-the-fly recharging is a bit annoying (you have to use their model-specific charge interface). The water-proof dust-proof feature is great and I'm happy this does NOT have a stupid LED flashlight on top adding unnecessary complexity to the unit like so many others. At $200, the GTX67 is spendy, but I anticipate the retail cost will come down over time since there are so many cheaper competitors out there.

We’ve been using the Midland GXT-67 radios for months now, and they have exceeded every expectation we had for them. Whether we’re overlanding across rugged Arizona trails, off-roading in our UTV, exploring remote ghost towns, or out on the water boating, these radios have been a game-changer.The GXT-67 radios are incredibly user-friendly—easy to set up and operate even for beginners. The buttons are intuitive, and the sound clarity is fantastic, even in environments with background noise like engines or wind. The weather alert feature is a huge plus, helping us stay informed during unpredictable conditions on our adventures. What truly sets these radios apart is their reliability and durability. Unlike the typical two-way radios you might pick up at a big-box store, like Big 5, the Midland GXT-67s are designed for real-world use. With most off-the-shelf radios, you might get limited range and spotty performance in rugged terrains. In contrast, Midland’s range is impressive, and the connection is rock solid, even when we’re deep in canyons or forests. Plus, the build quality is far superior—these radios can handle the bumps, dust, and drops that come with outdoor adventures. The Midland GXT-67 radios have become an essential tool in our overlanding kit. They’ve allowed us to stay connected over long distances when cell service is nonexistent and have genuinely enhanced our safety and communication. Whether you’re a serious off-roader or someone who just loves spending time outdoors, these radios are worth every penny. Highly recommend!
