I ordered this a few weeks ago as a replacement for a fryer that was long overdue for replacing: the temperature knob had a short so you had to adjust the temp slowly or it would shut off, and the "ready" light that indicated whether it was at the desired temp had burned out, forcing me to check the oil temp with a thermometer manually. Yeah, I needed a new fryer. Unfortunately, this Minca fryer is not it.Decided to use it for the first time today and bought a bag of wings. The first two batches fried up GREAT. Came out nice and crispy and seemed to cook faster than my old fryer. Put the 3rd batch in, sat down to eat. A few minutes later, I noticed it seemed quiet in the kitchen. Go check on the fryer and it's dead. Lights are off, oil is no longer bubbling, chicken is not even a quarter of the way cooked. 🤬 I checked the plug, tried a different outlet, nope, it's dead 🪦 I didn't know what to do......thought maybe it overheated. So I took the wings out of the fryer, drained them as much as I could, and threw them in my air fryer to finish them.A few hours later, I plugged the Minca fryer in again just to see if it would work now that it's cooled down. Nope. It doesn't even light up when it's plugged in. It's toast. Save your money. If that story isn't enough for you and you would like to know more, let me also offer that this fryer comes in pieces that need to be assembled - I've never seen anything like it. It's very cheesy. The "stainless" outside is basically a bottomless box that you insert the oil container into, then hang the electrical component into that, and slap the lid on. Ta da! You've built yourself an electrical appliance that I'm sure is totally safe. 🔥 🔥 And did I mention this product isn't UL listed? 🚒 Seriously, save your money.

My husband is the deep-fry king. Up until now, he's used the name brand tub-like deep fryer, that does not have all the bells and whistles this one does, and makes a mess each time he uses it. The Minca is so much better. The ability to adjust the temperature quickly, the fast heat-up, the added safety features, and the viewing window make this fryer hands above the tub. He mentioned just a couple of things to be aware of - he used a separate thermometer to test the temperature and said it showed about 20 degrees cooler than the 375 degrees promised. And, the handles are smooth. It would be safer if they had a grip of some kind, especially if oil has somehow gotten on them. Neither is a deal breaker, and it must be said that when you cook with hot oil, you have to be extra careful anyway. We are very pleased with it. The fries and shrimp tasted great, by the way.

The fryer heats up quickly, allowing me to cook my favorite fried foods in no time. The temperature control is spot on, so I never have to worry about undercooking or overcooking anything. Whether I'm making crispy fries, golden chicken, or crispy fish, it consistently delivers perfect results every time.Cleaning is a breeze thanks to the removable parts and the non-stick coating. The oil doesn’t splatter everywhere, which makes the whole experience much less messy than other fryers I’ve used. Plus, the large capacity means I can cook bigger batches at once, making it ideal for family dinners or gatherings. What really sold me on this fryer is how evenly it cooks. Everything comes out crispy and delicious with minimal oil absorption, which is a huge plus. It’s easy to use, and the safety features give me peace of mind while cooking. If you're looking for an affordable and efficient way to fry food at home, this electric deep fryer is a must-have. It’s fast, reliable, and has made my cooking more enjoyable than ever!

Super easy to put together and use. Just fill it up with the oil you want to use, heat it up to the temperature you want and off you go! We put about a dozen wings in it and they came out beautifully. It's small enough to fit on your countertop but big enough to make a decent size dish with it.

This deep fryer is convenient to have around the house. It has a good sized basket, heats up quickly, clearly indicates when it's ready, and has some well thought out safety features. The fryer's cord is short which is a double edges sword. While I'm safer with a short cord, the fryer's placement is limited by the location of the kitchen outlets. Snagging something on the cord and tipping over a fryer would be a disaster. I would probably end up in the hospital so I can appreciate that feature. Its cord is a held on by magnets which makes it very easy to unplug from the back. Between the cord length and the magnetic connection, I'm probably not going to be causing myself snagging problems. The removable lid is helpful. Sometimes if I'm frying a lot, the lid has to go. However, the lid helps the oil heat up faster, helps maintain its temperature, and makes me feel a lot safer when the kids are in the kitchen. The fact that I can remove this lid when I need to means that I can work around the fryer more freely when things get hectic. This fryer's basket is large and a good shape. It's sufficient for my family of five. The handle folds down, which is yet another safety feature. I'm not likely to bump the handle while racing around the kitchen trying to get breakfast on the table. Finally: cleaning. It is not the easiest clean but it's not terrible either. The oil tank is fixed in place so you can't take it out to wash it. That's my only real criticism of this fryer. It's been great in just about every other way. There are a lot of deep fryers out there and I can be quite critical of them. Hot oil causes very serious burns so safety is extremely important. This fryer was designed with that in mind and I'm very happy with it.

I was excited when this came in but when I opened the box there was no power cord or instructions in the box and had to return it. No option for a replacement. The fryer itself looked great and felt sturdy and durable while I was looking at it outside the box.
