This machine is so neat and easy to use. I got it as a way to make breakfast more fun. Has a booklet w recipes. It was supposed to come with a measuring cup but I didn't have one. That's fine; I used a 1/4 cup scoop per stick. I used my own recipe and it was fine. It does get hot and quickly; if you aren't sure about cook time, you can set a timer for 3-4minutes.

I am so happy with this purchase! The machine is incredibly easy to use. I just washed the grills with mild soapy water on a paper towel, then cleaned it up with a try paper towel. Sprayed with Pam and poured in 1/3 cup pancake mix. Closed the cover and opened it up 4 minutes later. They slide right out. Then I spray with Pam again and pour in another 1/3 cup mix. Each batch came out perfect and clean up is a breeze. I have NOT tried with fruit yet though, just plain mix.

Great little waffle maker. Easy to use and easy to clean. I found that, using a little cooking spray made the waffles easy to remove. Do not overfill the tray, otherwise it will overflow and make a mess; a little batter goes a long way. Also, I used reg pancake mix for my waffles and they came out great. For clean-up I used a damp paper towel and it wiped clean with minimal effort. The size of this appliance is great, it fits perfectly in my small kitchen.

I wanted a waffle maker that was lighter and less cumbersome than my old one and this one fits the bill. It makes 4 waffle sticks at a time but only takes a few minutes to make each batch. I used a recipe that came with it and tweaked it by using a gluten free flour. The waffles were delicious and I was able to remove them easily. Grandkids loved them! Clean up is easy, too.I guess the waffle maker was supposed to come with a measuring cup so you don’t overflow the grids. Mine did not have one and that would have been helpful as the recipes do not give a specific measurement for filling the grids. Still, over all, that doesn’t bother me enough to drop a star. It’s a nice little machine!

Easy to use and makes really great waffle sticks. Clean up is simple. I make a batch of waffle sticks on weekends for my partner’s breakfast. He pulls them out of the fridge and pops them in the toaster oven. I don’t like having appliances that only serve one purpose but it is very small and doesn’t take up much room, it works great, easy to use and clean and honestly, the price makes it a bargain considering how well it works. A+ recommended.

Bought this waffle maker because my kids like waffle sticks and it was the only one I could find. It’s a little workhorse. Fast forward a few years and it’s the go to weekend sleepover breakfast machine! Easy enough kids can do it themselves. There was a learning curve for how much batter to add to the machine to make waffles (1/3 cup). If you use too much the batter runs all over and you have a mess. The little indicator light goes off when the waffles are ready. Our light has dimmed over they years but we’ve learned to tell when it’s done so it’s not a big deal. We are now buying them as gifts.Only downside is it can be a bit tough to clean the non cook surface parts if you use too much batter.

High-Five(s) All Around! We are thrilled with this little waffle maker. We have this as a gift for our 8 year old daughter. I was amazed at the excellent waffles I was able to make for our family! What a treat. We had searched online at the industrial waffle makers to coincide with our chefs kitchen and couldn’t get anything delivered in time for the birthday because of the pandemic. Then we saw this little waffle maker. It could be delivered by her birthday. It was her favorite color, turquoise, and was from a kid friendly company. I had once bought their cake pop maker for her. What was the cost of this waffle maker(?) $14 dollars? We rolled the dice and purchased this one. What a perfect gift. It needs to be plugged in and then unplugged for power on/off. There is no on/off switch. A red light on top indicates perfect temperature for making waffles. That is all. It makes waffle sticks or one full waffle. Watch the steam coming from the waffle maker as you want to make sure it is released so the waffles are crispier. It comes with about 6 waffle recipes in a waffle booklet. It heats up immediately upon plugging in and cools down quickly upon unplugging. Super easy to clean with mere wiping off of extra cooked waffle along the edges. It closes like a kids briefcase or kids purse or something with a handle and you can easily wrap the power cord to store under the waffle maker.

This is a tiny little device that takes more time to fill properly than a regular waffle iron. It is not something you want to use by itself to make breakfast for a family. That being said, it is a fantastic tool to get your children interested in cooking. It is easy to use, the outside stays fairly cool, and the kids LOVE being able to dip the sticks rather than having to cut a waffle. I purchased a Tovolo Cupcake Pen (available here on Amazon) at the same time, and it makes working with the batter super easy. Try to avoid getting cooking spray on the plastic, as it will leave a gunky residue. If you do happen to have that problem, a Magic Eraser will usually get it off. Enjoy!

Well, I've had to edit this after a few day's use. I can't find a recipe that gives me a crisp, light waffle in this iron. It's soggy and limp for ten minutes straight, until it becomes too dark, and then it's still kind of limp. Might as well be making pancakes if I'm going to have that result. I went to the trouble of beating an egg white and folding it into the rest of the ingredients in a recipe larger than what I want to be making. Still limp, still soggy, though it puffed up nicely and browned perfectly (though not fast.)I think it just ought to be a little hotter, but there's no way to do that.I'm considering sending it back. For what it's worth, careful use of the veggie spray from Aldi's has kept my waffles from sticking even once.Original review: Great for small portions. I'm glad I bought it. The big waffle iron is just a pain to use and clean. 1 cup buttermilk pancake mix, 1 cup milk, 1 egg, and 1/8 cup vegetable oil makes about the right amount for two people. Use a bit of vegetable oil spray before pouring your batter. The instructions say there's a measuring cup enclosed but there isn't. A scant (slightly under) 1/2 cup of batter seems to work. The flimsy plastic latch is clearly going to break in no time flat, but it isn't necessary during cooking. Use it gently for storage only and maybe it'll hold up.
